A great local hidden gem. The food was fresh & delicious, and the service was outstanding - attentive & very accommodating! There is no longer a buffet due to COVID restrictions; however, the menu includes a great focused combination of seafood, meat & salads, plus options for kids. There is also outdoor dining still available, along with the takeout option. A must try!

This place have the BEST tacos and refried beans I have ever had in Pasadena and perhaps in L.A. The owner, Jose, he's such a GREAT host and chef. He goes an extra mile to please his costumers. When I eat here I feed my body and soul. Thank you for the delicious tacos, refried beans, and flan. I highly recommend La Camarona steak & seafood restaurant. The price is right so If you like Mexican food give this place a try. I guarantee you won't regret it!

Second time i order from here through Yelp/Grubhub, only to arrive and they're closed, again. You guys should update your hours on Yelp before people head out. I had to scramble during my lunch hour to get something else to eat.

If you are driving by and you see tables open, do yourself a favor and stop. If you like intimate mom and pop restaurants you might like this place! I came here with my fiancé and we had a great experience during COVID. Everything is surprisingly affordable too so I plan on coming back. The vibe is really nice and chill. The food was just great. I had a steak plate and it was perfect. Next time I'm getting that aguachili fo shoo!!!!

My husband and I came across this place and we are glad we did. We had a shrimp cocktail and the carne asada plate, and it was delicious. Not only was the food delicious the service was excellent. Go check out this place.
Found this spot on yelp, do glad we made the drive on a Sunday afternoon. No buffet due to covid but the quality of tbe sea food and preparation was superb. Amazing friendly kind service and the owner even made his way to greet us. We will be coming out to this spot again. Support your small businesses in your area or travel a little way out its worth it. Thank you

Wow, so I've had both the aguachile shrimp and the red aguachile shrimp which was sooo fresh and zesty! Highly recommend on a hot day or night. The server (I didn't catch her name) was super sweet and took great care of my grandparents and I. My grandpa has a bad back and she graciously brought out a comfortable chair from inside the restaurant for him to use outside.My grandma LOVED the shrimp cocktail! It came with so many large juicy shrimp. I also had a breaded fish taco and asada taco that were really tasty too. Honestly, give them a shot, they're doing a great job keeping patrons safe while providing some delicious Nayarit cuisine!

At last! Pasadena finally has a Mexican restaurant featuring unique regional flavors rather than the standard fare found at the many Mexican establishments close by. The aguachile was flavorful with just the right amount of spice and the shrimp "cooked" to perfection. The fish tacos were packed with perfectly grilled fresh fish. The owner took pride in the food and service and made us feel welcome. The prices were very reasonable and the outdoor seating was comfortable. It was like being on vacation on a beach in Mexico without having to travel; we can't wait to return!
