OVERALL EXPERIENCE: My 3-star rating is based on customer service and cleanliness (see SERVICE for additional comments). Food is great though!!!AMBIANCE: Casual. Noise level is average. There's a table near the walkway to the restroom, and OH BOY! every time someone opens the bathroom door, you can smell it (whatever deodorizer they use). Not very pleasant while you're eating.DRESS CODE: CasualORDERED: I've come here plenty of times, even when they were at their old location in South Pas. Food has always been great!- Margaritas are amazing!- endless chips and salsa!- guac is always a must order!- I usually order the Enchilada de Mole (sOoOo good!)- not listed on their menu, but I've ordered Flautas- Combos are good as well!SERVICE: Our waitress was great and friendly! I didn't catch her name though. To the manager... I noticed a solo diner. After he left, the busboy (the older gentleman), cleaned the table BUT LEFT THE EXTRA SETTING ON THE TABLE for the next patron(s), which I don't think is very sanitary.PRICE: ~ $20ppPARKING: small private lot, shared with other businesses stars stars (due to cleanliness and smell from the restroom coming down the hallway) stars

Food five stars, service five stars...The food is good, I like spicy but they have a good balance of flavor that made the extra spice I usually like unnecessary, the portions are generous. I don't really like mole but after trying some of their mole, I don't think I can continue saying that. The restaurant is cozy, clean and has good/attentive staff. Our server was Rene and he is courteous and attentive, next time I will try their desserts I just wasn't ready for their portions and got full / was left with no room for dessert. The four stars on the atmosphere section is only because, for me to truly judge a restaurant's atmosphere you need to experience it during its busy time when it's buzzing with people and all the staff is present. I love that it is cozy, it is and feels like an authentic family restaurant. I don't like taking pictures of my food as it gets in the way of fully being present and enjoying the experience so go see it and taste it for yourselves. I recommend it.

The food shouldn't be this good. If you look at the photos, they seem like the food would be boring/basic. Nothing could be farther from the truth. I enjoyed the asada burrito with salsa added on top. The rice is light, delicate, and accompanies the refried beans exquisitely. The guacamole is on point, and the burrito itself is mind blowing. I'm going to repeat myself... the food should not be this good. It's like stock photos of dry destitute standard Mexican food were showered with unicorn tears while seeing a double rainbow. Thank you La Fiesta Grande. Thank you.

We decided to try this place while in the area. We loved it! They had a great spicy skinny Margarita and the staff was very friendly! We highly recommend it!

I met the owners and love the staff of this fine establishment. The food is delicious and prepared with love. The cocktails are full of spirit. Yummy?! You get your moneys worth every time. The restrooms are clean. When you visit ask for servers Charlie or Dora. Charlie will not let your salsa bowl go empty and Dora will keep your drinks coming. A rare jewel ?

Everything we’ve tried is great. Definitely a solid Mexican spot, at least when it comes to a sit down restaurant. We’ve come to this restaurant when it used to be on Mission in South Pasadena. Glad to see it’s still in the area.Love the chips and salsa while we wait for our food. Great environment for dining.

Good ol' La Fiesta Grande! Loved them when they were in Pasadena on Colorado Blvd. So glad they're still around. My favorite was enchiladas verde con crema.

I love the food and service from Fiesta Grande. We eat lunch there often. The server is attentive. He refills my decaf coffee often. All of the food tastes like authentic.Mexican food. It reminds me of the food my Mom used to make. I recommend this restaurant highly.

It's a classic Mexican restaurant offering prompt and hot dishes. While the chimichangas were crispy with mainly meat inside with some vegetables (no cheese or sauce on top), the flan served as a delightful dessert. The enjoyable rice and beans, coupled with ample space for larger groups, made it an overall delightful experience.

I was looking for a new spot to try and read the reviews of this place and said to myself why not? The reviews were pretty good. Boy was I disappointed. In summary the micheladas are awful. There was no artistic craft or flavor put into the making of the michelada. I had to send it back. The food is unsavory and bland. The hot sauces were not spicy at all. This establishment caters to the caucasian demographics of Pasadena. Not authentic Mexican food. On the good side, the staff is friendly and attentive.
