Food is terrible. Had the carnitas burrito and was mostly fat plus it tasted old. The salsa they have is alright which is the only redeeming factor.

The food is delicious. I love the flutas and the fish tacos! The enchiladas are so so so good! And the tortilla chips taste fresh and the salsa is spicy, which I love! The ambiance is very cozy and cute. They are so nice and attentive when it comes to service.

The chilaquiles here are to die for and soooo flavorful, crunchy, cheesy, perfectly spicy (we ask to make them spicy when ordering) etc! By far the best chilaquiles we've had in Pasadena, always feels like a home cooked meal. The ambiance is always super welcoming and everyone is so kind. Our first time being "regulars" somewhere because it's just that good!

Garlic shrimp is unreal. Chips are perfect. They have a habanero salsa that if you ask for it is super spicy and flavorful. My favorite is the Deluxe Chile Relleno. SO good.

I wish I liked this place. We went in thinking we'd get authentic mexican food. Instead, it was overpriced and lacking flavor. To top it off, the 2 female employees were violating health codes left and right. We witnessed one applying lip balm with her finger, then grabbing a handful of chips and putting them into to-go bags. The other one was handling cash, grabbing dirty rags, munching on chips, then dipping her hand back in the same tray and portioning out more chips for upcoming orders. The best part of the "meal" was the complimentary salsa & chips.

This is one of my families favorite restaurants! The food is very fresh and made authentically, but their salsa is one of my favorites! Great service.

Love lupitas... great food, service and price... get the garlic shrimp! Located in the corner of a shopping area... it's the right place!

Had a bean and cheese on my bean and cheese addicted 2 month hiatus. Not the best but not the worst. But really is off the chain though, was the salsas they gave me. All of them were the bomb! And upon walking in to pick up my order, it's now legit. It smelled like a proper Chicano joint just like the types of restaurants that I remember growing up with in the greater SGV. Respect their salsa game!

Placed phone order, they never even took down my name, they hung up before I could give it to them. Went there 15 mins later and they hadn't even made my order. Then when I bite into the burrito everything is falling out because they didn't roll it tight enough!!! Burrito was 30% beef and 70% rice. What a rip off. They even seem low key prejudice. I'll keep my money. It's a HELL NO for Lupitas!!!!

Wonderful tiny authentic Mexican restaurant. The food is outstanding with warm friendly staff. I was in town on railroad business and had the hankering for a taste from home (south Texas). I was not disappointed. I ate there three days in a row. Enchiladas, burritos, flautas, tacos take your pick. I'll eat there again next time I'm in town.

We always do pickup as it's such a small restaurant. Food is always ready, hot, and they warm the chips. Chile Verde burrito this tim. Large chunks of pork, tasty sauce!
