A beautiful date night spot where you can sit beneath string lights nestled in an alleyway, listening to live music (plus, they have outdoor heaters!). Plates are tapas style and the bar is full, with an advantage for mezcal enthusiasts. Bonus- The wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They recommended some drinks for us to try and gave us some suggestions on the entrees. The drinks were great and we recommend the sea bass! Nice atmosphere with good service and lots of mezcal.

I recall taking my nephew right before pandemic began. I love the ambiance and the food and drinks were yummy. I loved the carrot cake tres leches sooo much that I commissioned a full one for my dad's 80th birthday. I can't wait to go back

Good vibes, cute and chic decor. The cocktails are like how I like my men strong and to the point. The food is most of the time orgasmic perfect spot for a date or with your homies also a sola date at the bar is divine oh and hands-down, the best customer service ever! Cheers the BONE MARROW ESQUITE Street Style Corn. Arbol Aioli. Dried Hot Sauce. Swect Com Tamale. Salsa Verde is my favorite so far

I can't remember the names of all the dishes. There was a queso, empanada, a tamatale. Food was good! Drinks were great. It's a small place. Don't bring your nice coat. I didn't see a coat rack so mine was dragging on the floor over my chair. They have a 2 hour maximum per table but the seating is set up so that you won't want to anyway. Unless you get a booth. We had reservations and tried to get a booth but they gave it to another group of 4 who hadn't even arrived yet. Didn't love that, but perhaps they were regulars and could make special requests like this in advance. Our server is was quick and attentive but also very busy. I don't think they have enough space for too many servers at once. There was a mistake with one of our dishes but they quickly took it back and fixed it. Overall we had a nice night. For the price, I won't necessarily be back, I'll try another place instead, but we had fun!

Really good modern Mexican food. A great bar with many mezcal and tequila to choose from.

Great atmosphere and friendly waitresses.Mariachi night is a must. The food disappointed though. It lacked flavor. Presentation was nice but the green enchiladas needed more seasoning. Calamari was decent. The side of chicken and beans for my daughter's cheese quesadilla were flavorless; it lacked salt and flavor. The arranchera meat also asked flavor....it seems as though all items needed salt unfortunately.Definitely not worth the price. The Mariachi sings great though. I can see this place more as a hang out spot to drink and listen to Mariachi, NOT to dine in.

We had a great time celebrating at Maestro’s restaurant in San Francisco. It is a beautiful and sleek building with a wonderful 88 compliant elevator that wisked us to the second floor to our celebration. we were met by wonderful server and host whose name was Paulo. His service was unmatched.. we were grateful to find the ADA compliant restrooms and wheelchair height tables. Definitely recommend giving them a visit at your next celebration and remember Zenith Nonemergency medical transport will take you there!

We had the dinela dinner and most of our food was not hot. Food was precooked and plated when serving.

We had a wonderful dinner at this Mexican fine dining restaurant. The menu has many tempting and unique dishes. Everything we ordered was terrific, sesame salad, tetela, mole, and chicken enchiladas. The service is great.

Now one of my family's favorite elevated Mexican restaurants. I snagged us a last minute reservation a few weeks ago. We ordered: Tetela - get it. One of our favorite things of the night. The textures and flavors of the masa and huitlacoche were lovely together. Calamari - good, but not any better than anywhere else. The roasted bell pepper puree did help it stand out a bit, but nothing to write home to. Scallops - my sister ordered this and loved it. Said it was far more filling than she expected. Sea bass - beautifully cooked and presented. My mom said it was her stand-out favorite of the night. Enchiladas - had a kick to them (I got the red)! The sauce isn't overly creamy, but all the flavor was there. More "rustic" and traditional other Mexican places (a common theme here). Really tasty and highly recommend. Enmoladas - another hit with our table. Deliciously complicated mole flavors well-well delivered. Not spicy, but not a sweet mole flavor. Tres leches carrot cake - good and actually extremely filling. The tres leches aspect isn't super apparent. Guava cheesecake - if you're a fan of guava or Porto's guava pastries, get this. Absolutely amazing and another favorite of the night. Don't expect typical Mexican-American style affair here. The focus of maestro is more traditional, rustic, and fresh flavors. There are elements of creaminess on their food, but the flavors are really given the spotlight.

Just went there tonight, food was great, our server was great too and then came their Busboy- we haven't finished our food and he keeps interrupting us to clean up plates glasses. Suppose to be fine dining not fast food. Very rude customer service.

Great upscale Mexican restaurant with possibly one of the best scallops I had this year. It came with huitlacoche rice and mushroom that was perfectly seasoned and tasted well with the scallops. Ceviche is a large portion with very fresh ingredients and lots of liquid sauce(?) around it, which made it a great starter for big group. Arrachera was also memorable with perfectly marinated skirt steak and amazingly fresh side salad. They also offer great vegetarian options, such as Tetela and Tamal poblano, as well as amazing Cocktail options. The only down side is the indoor acoustics, it is quite loud with all the (excited) chats, perhaps outdoor will be better with Mariachi playing in the background. A must place to visit!
