Malbec was recommended to me by a good friend, and it is now my favorite steakhouse. Not necessarily that they make the best steak ever (9 out of 10), no, it's because almost everything on the menu is delicious. Tons of flavor and cooked to perfection. Been there 3 times and each time was just as perfect as the last. The consistency is terrific and the environment is awesome.

Excellent food, excellent flavor, excellent atmosphere. Everything was great, the only thing I could say something about is the parking lot but everywhere is green. For some reason it didn't let me share the photographs of the food, but it doesn't matter, better go and try it.

Malbec for the win!!! Great service...waiter was awesome...personable and making sure that we were always taken care of. Food came out quickly and was amazing! Finished dinner off with a delicious desert and the absolute best Old Fashions!!!

Such a great place for date night. The food is always amazing and the service is a 10/10. Definitely recommend.
Service was top notch and the flavors here are amazing! The chimichurri is fantastic, rich in taste and light on oiliness, save some (or ask for more) that comes with the bread and dab it on the Hamburgesa for a little extra depth. The burger was delicious if you like gorgonzola cheese, quality of the meat and preparation were spot on. Start with an empanada, the crust is delightful and complex. Definitely going to be one of my favorite spots in Pasadena, cheers!

Another great experience at Malbec. I haven't been here for many years. It was worth the return visit. The host and wait staff were so attentive. Empanadas delicious. As was the Zaha Malbec. Our entrees (skirt steak and napolitana de lomo) were excellent. We will be back to try more things on the menu.

First of all I asked for a jug of clericot which they had no idea what it was so I limited myself to ordering a soft drink I asked if they had the classic tomato salad in an Argentine restaurant and they didn't know what I was talking about but they very kindly sent me To say about the kitchen that yes, I knew how to make it, yes, I know more how to add vinaigrette and the most seasonings, no, still, thanks for the attention, we ordered some empanadas which were not bad, we ordered the meat mix, plus a big point that their chimichurri was not It has flavor, it lacks that slightly salty flavor that it gives to cuts of meat. I rate it as satisfactory, nothing more than the staff's attention is good, but the waiter at the tables has to be more attentive and not have the customer look for him. It was pleasant. The attention of a lady named I think Rosa is still a debut and farewell to this place, the atmosphere is good

The staff at Malbec are absolutely wonderful. There were changes with my party and staff accommodated us and were so gracious. The service was impecable and we had 9 people in our party. Our waiter was outstanding, he was so busy all night long and i'm sure he must have crashed exhausted by close of day. All our food was hot, delicious, arrived quickly as well as our cocktails. I only have two suggestions for improvement. We were seated in the back room towards the left of the entrance. It was so very hot that we all kept fanning ourselves with our napkins. We didn't ask to be moved because we knew it would be difficult to move such a large party. I would reconsider dining here with a large party as it seems that the air circulation for the larger rooms is not very good. Second suggestion: the cocktail pours, we have been here many times and absolutely love the cocktails they are crafted perfectly. However, tonight our Old Fashions , which were 8 at $16 each, barely covered the ice in the glass. We got the impression that there may be a novice bartender or management had strict orders to measure down rather that up. again, at $16 a cocktail you expect a "normal" pour. Hopefully this will be resolved. Take always: Great food , great service, may not be good for large parties, and may want to me sure you receive a drink worthy of $16. We will be back but only as a party of two.

This evening my significant other and I dined at Malbec in Pasadena. It was wonderful. The atmosphere was excellent. The food was great. The waiter was attentive. The next time that we are in Pasadena we will be back. It reminded me of what we have been missing since Malbec Santa Monica closed during COVID.

If you are a vegetarian this is not your stop. Malbec is about meat, meat, and oh yeah meat. Can't forget the wine especially a nice Malbec wine. Went with a large group and had the sample entrees. You order several cuts of meat and ordered a few side vegetables sides. The ribeye is a nice, fatty, and juicy cut. The red sausage is also excrement. Side of mushrooms and asparagus with the meat and it hit the spot. If looking for a fine done sit down meat option restaurant then this is a place to stop by.
