love all the drinks at mandarin coffee stand and the baristas are all super friendly! they have great speciality drinks and offer cool pop ups every now and then but it gets really crowded and awkward since the space is so small, there's also not a lot of seating so it's not great for a sit down catch up the place if that's what you're looking for, it's great for a grab and go except you'll most likely have to wait in line

I love the Vienna latte. I waited 30 mins in line. The vibe outside London so cute. I would go back

This is apparently - based on huge lines out the door- a very hip place to be. We waited a while to even order and felt that the coffee was okay at best. We also ordered 3 pre wrapped pastries, all very dry. 2 stars because they are in a really pretty location that makes you want to enjoy a good cup of coffee.

Such a cute place to grab a coffee! Went on a Thursday at 2 pm and there were a few people ahead of us so we had to wait outside. Ordered the matcha latte, vanilla bean latte, and vienna latte! Would get the vanilla bean latte and vienna latte again, but would pass on the matcha because there was not much taste to it. Pretty good price for the quality of the drinks!

Flavor: 5/5 - The gui hua latte was amazing, and their herbal teas offered comforting, fresh flavors that were memorable. Price: 4.5/5 - The pricing was typical for a coffee shop, but the quality of the beverages exceeded my expectations, making it a great value overall. Quality: 4.5/5 - Many of the ingredients were organic, and the sourcing was intentional and conscientious. Also, the drinks are prepared at their correct temperatures, which is quite rare. The only drawback was that the milk options weren't organic. Service: 5/5 - The staff members were incredibly friendly and personable. Despite the bustling atmosphere, they maintained engaging conversations with both each other and customers while efficiently meeting demand. Ambiance: cozy, hole-in-the-wall, and clean.

Super cute coffee shop! Aesthetically pleasing. Cute for dates or a quick coffee stop!

A gem in the LA/Pasadena area for high quality and great tasting coffee. The baristas are the friendliest and very attentive - adding lots of detail and care in preparing each drink. The seasonal drinks always catch my eye, that I want to visit frequently! It's truly a "stand" with no indoor seating, but a few chairs and tables outdoors. Not really a "cafe" where you go to sit and chat, but I love to stop by and pick up a signature latte as it's sooo creamy and creative.

A cute quiet coffee stand that’s very petite. No seating inside but there is a bar to place a laptop and stand as it’s quite tight, but there’s a lot of seating outside with a great ambiance. I got a latte breve which was delicious! My partner got a cappuccino but was a little disappointed on the size.I didn’t get a pastry but they looked good and had a decent selection. I’ve included a photo of some of their special drinks, would definitely come back!

Cute location. Good flavors. It makes sense to drop by and visit this location if you're already in the marketplace and want to hang around for a bit. I'm not convinced I'd drive, pay to park and walk for the coffee. The coffee would be a bit expensive if we consider all the other aspects. That said, coffee flavors are great! They have a few options, and I really enjoy their tea selections. The teas are subtle so they aren't too overpowering and well-balanced with the coffee/sweeteners. There is no room inside (unless you're waiting to pick up an order), so if you want to hang around for a bit, there are a few tables outside that can accommodate maybe 10 people at best.

Cute little shop in a special little corridor in Pasadena. There's typically a wait as the coffee is made with care and the shop has a capacity of 4 people at a time. I tried the gui hua which was nice, I asked for half caff and they were able to accommodate. I'd love to try the Vienna latte which seems to be a favorite as everyone was ordering it. They gave me a sample of the sweet cream foam that accompanies the Vienna and it was divine. Not too sweet, light, airy and smooth. Will have to come to return! Not the best option if you're looking to grab and go but cute spot for a coffee date or friendly catch up.

There was a line out the door and to the front, but luckily it moved by fast. Unfortunately, the matcha latte was not worth as it tasted like straight milk. It felt like I wasted $6.

Such a great coffee shop! Lines can get a bit long, but their drinks are definitely worth it. Mandarin Coffee Stand is located in a beautiful street of shops, with plentiful outdoor seating and a relaxing vibe. We ordered a matcha latte and a "Toasty" signature drink. The matcha was really smooth and not too sweet, and the Toasty was so good! The cinnamon and brown sugar paired well with the espresso and Rooibos tea flavors in the drink.
