The chicken and gorgonzola sandwich was great ? The fries however, were so so. Did not like that they charge 3% extra for credit cards.Parking: On a busy day, there may not be available parking in their lot.

Great American Diner close to city hall. They offer great breakfast options as well as healthy option for those of us watching the calories. We were attended by Tiffany who made sure to answer our questions and even gave us change for the parking meters(we parked on the street). The staff maintained my coffee cup full and it tasted great! Recommend the chili with all the toppings and the pulled pork sandwich was a hit

Had the hickory burger. Mediocre at best. Basically a frozen burger thrown on the grill. Nothing amazing, and definitely not at that price. First and last time there.

Breakfast today at Marston's. I ordered the 1/2 order of the Macadamia Nut pancakes for $11.45 and an order of bacon for $7.25 and coffee for $4.95. The coffee was good, but not worth $5. The pancakes (2) were luke warm and served with a liitle cup of cold syrup. I had to ask for more syrup two times. Basically two regular pancakes with macadamia nuts sprinkled on top. The bacon was served crisp (the way I like it ) but not worth $7.25. I asked for a 1/2 order of bacon, however they refused. Wait staff nice but rushed due to crowd waiting. The ambience very nice and cozy! For the money, I think I will skip breakfast here and continue to eat lunch when i am in town.

I enjoy their salmon and ice tea. Great food and great atmosphere at this location and at the Santa Clarita location. Would love to have a Marston’s in the South Bay area.

Food, service , accommodations all excellent. This little quaint restaurant is a definite must! While visiting the area we googled this restaurant and are very glad we did. Additionally our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and suggested combinations that allowed us to experience a variety of items from the breakfast menu at a cheaper price. Our food was served to us fast and fresh. We love to eat local when traveling and Marston’s has been added to our list of places to recommend. Bon appétit!

I parked by the corner parking lot as their back parking was full. You pay with the QR code which was very convenient *take a pic of qr code as you enter so you don't forget) and add your info like the license plate, name, phone number. All day for $7. I checked in through yelp and it said you get a free baklava. My server, Lilly, said you don't. I didn't care. I came here for the fantastic French toast which consists of four thick slices of sourdough dipped in vanilla egg batter and rolled in with fresh cornflakes. But I got the half portion so it's two and I added berries: strawberries and blueberries. But few other times, I had their Florentine Benedict. That comes with two poached eggs served with spinach, avocado, and tomato on an English muffin, topped with Hollandaise sauce and served with their special potatoes. And my daughter always gets their San Pasqual or the omelet which comes with bacon, cheddar and avocado slices. All delicious!! They have one of the best breakfast in Pasadena and their food is always consistent. They have great service and the ambience is comfortable like you're visiting a friend's house and they have paintings hung on the walls. This is truly one of my favorite breakfast spots in Pasadena and I always come back.

This place a a dingy dark filthy greasy piece of sh_t. Just look up at the ceiling and behold what you'd imagine a crack house to look like. They've packed the place with so many tables (to make profit) you can barely move. There's no ventilation. The prices are designed to steal your money and leave you bewildered asking why you ever stepped foot in this sh__ihole. I wanted a side of bacon and it was $7.25! I wanted two eggs and some eggs $20! Remember, you'll be sitting in a rat infested old house on fIng walnut st. It's not overlooking the Pacific Ocean it's overlooking nothing.. The owner is reaping in your cash probably living in a massive home overlooking the rose bowl while I'm paying $70 plus to have the worst greasiest piece of crap breakfast with my wife. My advice: Go to Russel's on fair oaks. You won't regret it.

Tried this place out on a whim. It's a little hidden and the parking lot is small. The servers are friendly and attentive. It's a cozy place and our meals were good. I like the fact that this was once upon a time someone's home. Im sure there is lots of history. I like old places like this to explore, some of the restaurant's home history is written and framed on the wall which is cool. Even though it was a busy morning, it's a very calm and relaxing atmosphere which is nice and there is also some outside seating on the patio.

Best coffee, super outdoor space. Staff is on point. I was surprised the place wasn't packed the way it used to be some years back.

It took us 1.25 hours after seated to get our food. Upon arrival our food was painfully mediocre but we were so hungry but had no choice. For the price and the amount of time we had to wait, I would suggest skipping here and going somewhere else. Orange juice was great, must get.
