My go-to spot for a clean and tasty vegetarian plate. The mujadhara, hummus, baba ganoush, and Greek salad with a side of grape leaves always satisfies.
I had a list of 10 Mediterranean places to go to lunch with my friend in Pasadena and I am glad I narrowed it down to this one. Now, I was a little weary about the food coming out as soon as we were paying BUT the food was pretty amazing. This just tells me that they are super efficient during lunchtime on a Saturday! The food was very flavorable and they have the best garlic spread I have ever eaten in my entire life! We will definitely be back! Not pictured here but don't miss out on the tzatziki either!
Food is fresh and service was extremely fast! The owner is always welcoming and there's never a time when I was dissatisfied! The place was always clean and has a very welcoming atmosphere! Highly recommend for anyone craving Mediterranean food!

I got to try their food because it was catered for a party I attended. I have to say everything my was delicious. Rice, chicken shawarma, tzatziki, falafel, tahini, tabbouleh and hummus were all flavorful, fresh and authentic. I have to say this was the best hummus I have ever tried. Definitely recommend!

Mediterranean Café is My FAVORITE MEDITERRANEAN FOOD! It is a family owned business. The owners are very friendly and attentive. Their service is always Top Notch! The menu includes many tempting dishes. They are specialized in both Kebab and Shawarma. You can choose either beef kebab, Kefta Kebab, Lamb Kebab or Chicken Kebab. They also have chicken salad, shawarma salad or lamb kebab Salad. The meat are always very juicy, flavorful and tender. They have many vegetarian options too, for examples ; they have falafel which is always fresh and crispy from outside and extremely yummy. They also have hummus, Baba Ghanoush, stuffed grape leaves, tabbouleh, and Greek salad. My family and I have our favorite combo plates from there. So today, it was very funny when the owner saw me, he just placed my order before I said anything! Of course I was laughing, but I thanked him for his attentiveness and their excellent customer service. Regarding the restaurant hours, they close at 5 during the week days and at 3 on Saturday.The owners told us that they want to spend the weekend with their kids. I totally respect them for that. It is a great Mediterranean restaurant with excellent service, outstanding quality and deliciousness of food in addition to the nice and friendly owners. It is a real hidden gem in Pasadena.
