Such a wonderful experience today at Mi Piace in Pasadena.We sat at the bar and a couple of bartenders greeted us - very warmly with great energy! We met the Owner Armen as he came to the bar to check on things. He was so gracious & friendly; wanting to make sure we had everything we needed. He even instructed the bartender to ensure to re-chill my vodka martini ? when I was halfway in. Who does that? Armen does - at Mi Piace !Get over here soon! You will love the vibe, adore the people, and crave the food!-Traci ?

My husband and I would come to this restaurant when we were dating. We decided to come back after 24 years and show our children this great restaurant. Our experience was even greater than we remembered. Food was delicious, atmosphere was wonderful and our server Frank and all the host were outstanding. Thank you so much for a lovely dinner.

My family and I visited Mi Piace for the first time last night, and it was long overdue. It has stellar Yelp reviews, and the meal and experienced lived up to the rating. We were warmly greeted and waited on patiently and with good humor. Each dish was as good or better than the last. At the end of the meal, the owner came over to check in and, upon learning it was our first time in, sent over free desserts. We will be back!

Extremely mediocre place. Upon arrival we were seated right away. I don't know why, but she put us in the corner next to the window, where we were squeezed in. We asked is another table open, and the one 2 tables down was. We were not sure why she didn't just seat us there initially, and why she just squeezed us into a small table by the window, and when we asked if we could move there, she agreed (Very strange). Our server was missing in action most of the time. I asked for lemon with the water, never came so I asked again 15 mins later. We asked for the salad to come as an appetizer, it came after the pizzas??????? The only plus was the crust on the pizza was good, besides that it really was nothing special. Can get the same thing from your local round table. I genuinely don't understand how this place operates. When we were done eating, we waited a solid 20 minutes before anyone came to take away the dirty plates. We finally called our server and gave him the credit card. Do not come here, service is absolutely horrendous. Overpriced fake italian food.
Came here for an early dinner and had a lovely time. The food was delicious and the staff is very kind. Highly recommend trying this restaurant if you're in the area.

Super disappointed in our experience after reading prior reviews. We chose this restaurant based on ratings and proximity to our hotel. When we arrived a few minutes prior to our reservation we were seated promptly in a quiet table by the window. Took awhile for our server to come over. There were several large parties with children dropping food and lots of straw wrappers on the ground near our table. Our server didn't write down our orders when he took them. Our meal came out super fast (within 5-10 minutes) while we were still enjoying our cocktails. Our server forgot to place the order for our salad and offered to bring it after our entrees. When it arrived it was the wrong one. Pasta side was overcooked and dry. Chicken piccata was tough and room temp when it arrived. Server never came over to check on our meals so we actually had to flag another person down regarding our appetizer, then he came over. Sorry to say that we felt that this was generic Italian food that was a bit overpriced for the quality. It did seem like a very family friendly place for locals or those traveling with small children. The restaurant offers a wide variety of options. Unfortunately it was a disappointing experience for us on the last night of a special reunion trip.

Food was good, but seemed to be on the smaller side for portions. Ambience was pleasant but background music was a little loud at times. Service was great, they stayed attentive from start to finish and provided good recommendations.
