I’ve been here a few times now and I’m always impressed. They treat their food and drinks with love and it really shows. Happy to say that I am now a regular!Since they’re so hidden and rather new, sometimes their business seems a little slow. Don’t let that discourage you from trying it! To the owners: maybe consider gaining some visibility to passing cars? A large sign that faces the street would be nice, I imagine a bit expensive… perhaps that electric sign could be moved to the outer window?

This is a coffee and breakfast/lunch place for true foodies, not those who like to pretend they are, but really want to people watch on the boulevard. This hidden gem sits above the street at the top of an outdoor staircase. We came for the Matchas, which were amazing, but stayed for the food, even though we have lunch plans less than two hours from now. The food is fresh, creative and they don’t skimp. The servers were kind and attentive, but not pushy. We will be back. We owned a farm table restaurant for 10 years and we know what it takes to do it right and this family run business does it right.

You need to support this business. A little hard to find ( set back off street and second floor) but the search is worth it! Food fabulous and coffee/tea are great. Two matcha lattes they were so good. You can’t miss, eat here before everyone knows about it.

Had a very wonderful experience with my friends at Old Town Cafe. Customer service was excellent and made sure our experience was great. The food is amazing! Its a little pricey but you’ll definitely won’t think about the price after your first bite. Everything was so delicious i wanted to try every dish my friends got. Only thing I will say is the store playlist. Its pretty bad. Like. Bad… For the owners I recommend something more jazzy like Stelvio Cipriani or Amy Whinehouse. Pop songs dont really fit the cafe style in my opinion. Overall 9.5/10!!

Arrived for a late breakfast. I ordered some iced tea while others in our group placed orders for food. I did not place a food order because they were out of what I wanted. I reviewed their menu before visiting and had something in mind that I thought would be interesting. The others that ordered food stated that the food was ok, not great or memorable. They seemed short staffed and a little overwhelmed. You have to order at the register and pay, then the food is bought to your table. Place could use a little bit of cleaning. The staff is courteous, the food was ok. Would I visit again, probably not. There are many established options in Pasadena.
Come here all the time. Food portions are very generous and the coffee here is great. A bit on the strong side at times but you’re definitely getting your moneys worth. The breakfast burrito, crepe, French Toast combo, and of course their açaí bowls are my favorites. They make a pretty hearty breakfast sandwich as well.Because their portions are big, don’t come here expecting to pick up fast food. The service is not slow. These people work hard to get your food orders ready accurately but wait time for your meal could be anywhere from 10-18 minutes. But when I tell you it’s worth the wait, trust me. I come here before work and order ahead for my lunch breaks.Staff is of course always great and friendly.

Chanced upon this place today after my sons soccer practice. It was pretty packed when we got there but fortunately a table became available right away. We enjoyed their lattes as well as their generous serving of food. Definitely recommending this place and will come back to try other things from the menu. Service was great, food was amazing, and plenty of street parking, as well as a lot available.

Amazing fresh squeezed apple juice to start off my meal followed by a beautiful plate of avocado toast! i got over easy eggs on top and it was so delicious and perfectly flavored. service was quick and i think it was the owner who i interacted with a few time and he was super kind! the little cafe was the perfect place to sit and have breakfast! quiet and nice music.
