One of my favorite sit down Thai restaurants in San Gabriel Valley. The food is delicious, the decor is nice, and great service. I love their Yellow Curry (with Chicken). The only downside of this location is the parking.

We ordered seafood tum yum, it was sweet and lacked flavor. Spring rolls were dry. Beef satay was the only thing we ate. The staff is friendly and attentive, no complaints about the staff!

probably not going to be ordering from here again, And I have spent thousands here in the past 4 years. They cut back on the quality of chicken in the chicken thai, and feel its okay to send grizzly meat with lots of chicken skin.

Food was great, we had many dishes and all of them were good. Went on a Sunday afternoon and the place a bit busy and hence the service was not as desirable .

We love coming to this place for a Thai cuisine! I would say the service rates three out of five since they are so busy, and take quite a while to get you seated. However it's doesn't come as a surprise, the food is amazing. Typically always pair my curry or the pad sew with one of there Thai iced tea. Overall, this is the best Thai spot in Rosemead area. Atmosphere is cozy but definitely on the loud side your looking for a romantic spot this wouldn't be it. You

It's too bad that they closed the Rowland Heights location that was are going to too at least once a month. We were passing by the Pasadena area and decided to try the President Thai there on noon Sat. It was so crowded and noisy inside, had one large happy bday dear customer group, and parking really sucked had some idiot in a white Tesla steal my spot as I tried to turn my suv around to park. Food was still tasty as I remembered. Just not the prices. Service and staff were great.

This has been our go-to Thai place as long as I can remember. President Thai always has great service and great food, and their ambiance is nice as well, like a big dining room hall. We had a takeout tonight. I felt like having their seafood yellow curry and crab fried rice and their Thai iced tea. Simple as that. We usually get more dishes when our daughter comes home, but not tonight. There's plenty of parking to the neighboring sides for parking, if you don't find parking at their lot. I noticed that some regular staff have changed. I don't see the guy who was great at directing parking and a great waiter. We used to laugh about him because it seemed like he was at an airport runway directing planes (directing cars for this matter when they got crazy busy). He was great with his lights, we missed him. Their food is always on point, flavors always great!! We'll always return for more. Thank you, President Thai team!!

I always pass by here and have heard positive feedback. However, I was disappointed!!! The place is small and parking is small as well as having a valet charge! The food was very garlicky and small offerings. Not what I get in Downtown Los Angeles at Tommy Lasorda's favorite place... which isn't as expensive but always delicious!!! The atmosphere is nice and colorful and the service is good. If you like garlic in everything then this is your place!

I expected so much because of the ratings. Too much sweet. There should be some balance between sour and sweetness. Shrimps were fresh. Little pricey.

Recently, my group of ladies decided to revisit President Thai, a restaurant. We hadn't frequent it in many years. To our delight, the experience was just as wonderful as we remembered. While the service was a bit lacking, the delicious food more than made up for it. we opted to dine family style and every dish we tried was a hit. From the flavorful curries to the perfectly cooked noodles and the delicious seafood. Despite the bustling atmosphere on a Friday night, with the restaurant, loud and busy, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and soured every bite. Although there were minor hiccups in service. The overall experience left us eager to return. With reservations in hand, we're already looking forward to our next visit to President Thai. It's a gym worth rediscovering, and there's no doubt that will be headed back for more delicious Thai cuisine soon.

This restaurant never disappoints! Love the bbq beef and the fried calamari. But we have had many of the dishes and all are pretty tasty. Pad tai noodles are great! Green beans, amazing!

Was there on a Saturday night, and the restaurant was understandably busy. My family and I have been visiting President Thai for years and after last night, we may never go back. The service was horrible. Our server kept disappearing. Our food was either cold or lukewarm and our fried rice was mushy. I ordered crispy noodles and they were not crispy. Of I everything, I sent one back, because there were several of us and a most were hungry. If it were up to me, I would have sent every dish back and left, that is how bad everything was, the dish I sent back was green beans with shrimp and it was ice cold as if it had been taken out of the refrigerated and plated. That dish was not made fresh it was COLD. Refrigerated cold. And their prices are on the higher end in comparison to other Thai restaurants. I would expect the food prices to reflect on the food quality and service, but that is not the case here. I could never recommend this restaurant to anyone ever again.

President Thai is a gem of a Thai restaurant that never disappoints. I recently dined there and was blown away by the quality of the food and the impeccable service. The seafood papaya salad was a flavor explosion, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice. The BBQ beef was tender and flavorful, a true delight for the taste buds. What impressed me the most was their ability to adjust the spice level according to my preference. The service was quick and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. To top it off, their coffee was exceptional, adding a perfect finishing touch to the meal. The restaurant's ambiance is chill and inviting, making it the ideal spot for a relaxed dining experience. I highly recommend President Thai to anyone craving delicious Thai cuisine served with top-notch service in a welcoming environment.

Be prepared for the best but most expensive Thai food you'll eat in all of CA. The food is really good, the flavoring is on point. But you will be paying top dollar for it. Our favorite is the Pad See Ew but each dish is about $25 bucks where normal Thai restaurants run about $12. Also, be prepared to wait a very long time for your takeout or to be seated. They are always busy.
