I’m a plain glazed donut fan. Randy’s is so far the best I’ve had in So Cal. My all time favorites though are Stan’s in Sunnyvale and Shipley’s in Dallas. Give those a try if you’re in those areas. Since I don’t live in those other areas I go to Randy’s when I’m craving a solid glazed donut. My wife loves the glazed blueberry donut which is quite unique and one we haven’t seen elsewhere.

I do prefer the character & originality of the Inglewood location, plus it's become somewhat of an unofficial tradition to make a pit stop just before heading back to LAX. However, after having dinner in the area recently, my friend (a local Angeleno) & I took the opportunity to check out the Pasadena outpost of Randy's Donuts which opened in late 2020. We came in about an hour before closing & they were already out of a few flavors. I didn't see the buttermilk bar I usually get so I went for a maple raised & a glazed raised, both soft & fresh. My friend bought a handful of sprinkle donuts including a giant pink one reminiscent of the donut available for purchase at the Simpson's area in Universal Studios. My friend & I agreed, Randy's won't be our go-to dessert spot after dinner in the area, but variety is unbeatable.

OMG...hands down the best donuts in the SG Valley area! They are always fresh, yummy and consistent. You never have to worry if your donut will be as good as the "last time"! The customer service is helpful and kind too which honestly is a great thing as some places are really lacking in customer service these days!

Great spot and even greater donuts for the office or any occasion. Glad I was nearby and able to order and pick up a couple dozen for the office.

I did a pickup for Uber Eats today (2/7 around 8pm) so I cannot comment on the donuts but I feel obligated to provide feedback of the terrible experience I had here. 1) There was a line of 4 people ahead of me and only 1 employee. In his defense, they really should have a 2nd employee to support. 2) The employee was very rude. As he was working on an order I kindly stated the pickup name to him and he said I needed to wait. I brought it up especially because there was a box sitting there that may have been for me. After he served 1 customer he said that he would serve us all in order of who came in first. That's just not acceptable for pickup. Why even place pickup? Words were exchanged between the 2 of us. I explained that we are here to pickup as it is generally expected to be ready by now or very soon. He was very short with me and his overall demeanor was aggressive and as if he was begging to be let go from this job. Eventually he came to me and lo and behold, the box was my order. We could've handled this in 5 seconds but he wanted to act miserable instead. I sympathize with the fact he is by himself working but the attitude is not acceptable.

There are a number of donut options on Lake Avenue in Pasadena. Our new favorite is Randy's Donuts. We have never been to the original location near Inglewood with its King Kong size donut on the roof so it is great having this location close by. We were greeted by very friendly staff behind the counter. The selection of donuts behind the glass was varied and very tempting. So many choices! We settled on the classic dozen this time. Next time we will dive into the premium donut choices which all looked delicious. Our classic dozen were all fluffy and fresh with wonderful accents. Our favorites were the classic glazed donut and the maple iced cake. We loved our first visit to Randy's. We can't wait for our next visit to sample more of their donut goodness! Yay!

The donuts were fine. The place wasn't fancy--seating is outside near a busy street. But at the next table, a dad is there, with his three chatty 3-7 yo kids. Nothing big happening, just a regular dad taking regular kids out for a regular donut. I found myself reliving memories of my own father treating us to donuts. And then, each and every instance that I was chastised by a controlling ex for my "bad" food choices around the kids. An occasional donut with the kids can be a special moment. I am not an ogre.

Lots of donut variety choices and extremely friendly staff. Pretty decent tasting donuts, but their quality control needs some serious work. Don't be shocked if a donut of two in your box of 12 is actually stale. No comparison with the freshness and quality of Krispy Kreme.

Just had a real bummer of an experience, my first bummer here. Ordered four doughnuts for the fam. The staff getting the doughnuts switched after getting two of them. The new guy told me what was in the bag and I said, the third one is not right. He said, “I misspoke,” and said the four I wanted were in there. Got home to find he hadn’t misspoke and the doughnut I’d ordered for myself wasn’t there - it was the one the guy said he’d misspoken about. It happens, but you sort of wish the staff were better.

I entered this donut shop on a whim. I lived for 3 years in Costa Mesa, and many times drove by the location there (it's on Harbor Blvd) and although the giant donut that they have in their sign got my attention, it wasn't enough to persuade me to go visit it. Today, I decided to give this location a chance and it's quite good. The donuts are a tier above the typical Dunkin' or Krispy Kreme's offering, but without reaching the level of Sidecar Doughnuts & Coffee. They have a wide variety of options, I tried the Oreos Raised and the Nutella Raised and they were both hearty, voluminous and substantial. Almost like a meal. The atmosphere and service were both great too. The Nutella Raised won when compared to the Oreos Raised (the frosting of the Oreos Raised would flake out and fall off upon contact, but the Nutella Raised was a whole experience and nothing fell of while I was biting into it).
