The food is so good, no excellent!! The service is so great. The restaurant is not fancy, but simple, clean, bright and pleasant. The hummus is so good. The combo skewers is so great. Greek salad is yummy. It's $12.99, but can feed 3-4 people easily if you're getting another entree. The ground meat kebab is yummy. The beef is so good! I forgot to take pictures because I was so excited to eat. I took a picture of my leftovers at home.

This is a great place to taste some traditional mediterranean food and catch a glimpse of Armenian people and culture. The food was great, the service was even better. I would be returning here very soon. I recommend this restaurant especially to my Indian American friends, please show some love and support for a friendly Armenian business and one of our good friends in the Central Asian neighborhood. Love from India ??Parking: Located behind the restaurant

I moved to the Bay and I miss Sahara more every day. Do *not* miss out on their feta. The falafel is fantastic, as is everything else in their falafel combo plate. My partner loves their vegetarian combo plate and swears by the babaghanouj. Feta comes with both, but adding on the feta plate worth it. Feta feta feta. They're also just lovely people. Feels good to support them, feels good to eat their food. Can't recommend this restaurant enough.Vegetarian options: One of my favorite vegetarian restaurants ever. If you like falafel, get the vegetarian plate, and if you like baba ghanoush, get their vegetarian plate. If you're vegan, I'm pretty sure the only thing you have to remove is the feta.

Some of the best mediterranean food I have ever had. The hummus is smooth, the chicken is absolutely succulent, the tabouli is soft and fragrant (I’ve never eaten so much of it) and the falafel is crispy on the outside and perfectly soft and moist on the inside and very well seasoned. Plus they grill all their meats over a mesquite fire.I highly recommend giving it a try sometime. I know I will certainly be coming back to try the rest of their menu. Also, I think the price point is quite reasonable for the quantity and quality of the foodThe staff was also friendly and the service was good.Vegetarian options: Falafel appetizers plates and sandwishes, hummus, babaganouche, stuffed grape leaves, salads, etcWheelchair accessibility: Ground floor no stairs, open floor plan and good distance between tables

By far the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in the area. Tastes delicious, feels healthy, and the staff is wonderfully warm and welcoming. I feel fortunate to have a place like this so close to home!

Excelent service and wonderful food! Everyone was welcoming and ladies at the counter were very nice. The food reminded me of the kind my grabdma used to make. Would absolutely return.

One of the best places to eat Middle Eastern food in Los Angeles is Sahara Restaurant in Pasadena! ? I've been coming here since the 90s. The kebabs, hummus, tabbouleh, and Greek salad are my absolute favorites. Everything I've ever tried here is made fresh, yummy, and super delicious. ? The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs. They have an open-concept kitchen, so you can see them cooking all the food when you order at the counter. ?️ My family and I usually like coming here to have lunch on Saturdays before 3:00 PM (they close from 3:00-5:00 PM Mon-Sat, then reopen from 5:00 - 8:00 PM for the dinner crowd, closed on Sundays). They have parking in the back and two spaces for parking on the side of the restaurant. It's a fantastic place to relax and enjoy delicious food with family and friends. I highly recommend it! ?Parking: They have parking in the back of the restaurnt and 2 parking spots on the side, check signs for street parking in front of the restaurantWheelchair accessibility: They have a door large enough to accomodate a wheelchair

I ordered beef Kabab, but they offered lentil soup or salad as a side menu. The lentil soup was fine but not necessary. The beef Kabab plate included rice which was of low quality and other extra items. Overall no Mediterranean experience.

First time here and we loved it! The food was really great and honestly a bargain. We both got the falafel plate and it came with lots of pita, olives, cucumbers, feta and we both picked a salad. The salad was a really tasty minty cabbage salad. The plate came with falafel, hummus, salad with tahini and a very good tabouleh. Both ladies that came to our table were so nice. Can't wait to come back!

THE best chicken and steak kabobs! Nearly 15 years ago I used to work nearby and loved this place. I still drive from Covina just for them! Service is outstanding and everyone is so kind. You can taste the mesquite smoke on the chicken and steak. The hummus and tabouli is consistently amazingly fresh and delicious. I could not recommend this restaurant more.

Fresh food cooked over charcoal is special in itself, but what sets this place apart is that the staff treat you like family. I always get the lulu kabob. This place is a gem; I am here at least twice a week.
