The birria taco tastes like love and passion even without the salsa. Also enjoyed the freshly made salsas with the chips. My friend enjoyed the chicharron verde taco. Thank you. Can't wait to come again. Would recommend.Kid-friendliness: Others dined in with their kids.

Tacos Poncitlan is so good! Ive tried the Barbacoa burrito and quesadilla- both delicious! The meat is really good and fresh. The shrimp burrito is also really tasty. The shrimp has a nice buttery flavor complemented with avocado. The staff is really nice. It's a little pricey but it's definitely worth it!

We passed by the place which is located on thecornet of Allen and Queensberry Road.. it had no name but is white with letters on the side of the building. It is a small,clean location with a few tables inside, it was cool inside which is good because it is hot outdide! I ordered the shrimp burrito which to my surprise was filled with shrimp!!! Other places put maybe 3 pieces but this was packed!!! I was given two chili sauces red and green both of which had a good flavor. Not sure how long they have been open, this is must visit if you're in Pasadena!

I used to work down the street and this place is such a go to. The food is authentic and delicious. Anything that I've ordered is made fresh and on the spot. The employees are always so kind and delightful. I've brought friends, family and recommend it to anyone that I know is in the area. Support local!

Came here at 10am since that's the time it shows on the website and on yelp and one of the chefs came and told me they open at 10:30am. Unfortunate because you plan your lunch time around posted hours.

Aesthetic interior with a great mural. Been a few times & was good food until once when we came end of day and got stale food. That’s the only reason I took a star off, stale food at the end of the day is avoidable. Otherwise it’s our local taco spot and I’m pretty sure we will be back for lunch sometime.

This is my family's absolute favorite taco spot in Pasadena! Whenever I'm craving tacos, I head to Tacos Poncitlan. 1) Food: I always get a classic taco plate with 3 tacos, rice and beans. The tortillas, meats, and salsas are incredible. 2) Service: they're super friendly and the food comes out pretty fast! This spot is the perfect mix of casual, hole in the wall, family business with delicious food. It's unpretentious and affordable, which is exactly what I'm looking for in a lunch spot I hope to be back to try their chilaquiles for breakfast!
This taqueria was an excellent stop for lunch. I had a large Barbacoa taco and my husband had a veggie burrito. They were both delicious. The atmosphere was good- hole in the wall.
