Unfortunately, having an English mother means that you're kinda picky about your tea. It's not their fault they can't serve boiling hot water thanks to Mickey D scalding litigation. With that said, the food was surprisingly good, as well as the service ?.

It’s so overrated. The desserts are too sweet. The sandwiches are disgusting. Even the fruits are not fresh, even worse than my school cafeteria. It’s such a disappointment that I honestly have no idea why so many people recommend this place. The service is very mundane. The environment is descent, but the split charge ruins it all. Would never come back EVER again or recommend anyone to this place unless I hate him/her.

This place never disappoints! If you're looking for a cute tea spot but that is more affordable than other options plus has great food options then this is your place. I've been to a lot of afternoon tea places and this is one my top favorites because of the customizable selection (you choose sandwich and scone options vs most tea places are a set menu) and it's actually tasty! Tons of vegetarian options as well. My favorite sandwiches are the carrot and cheese, cucumber, and flower herb cream cheese.Parking is tough because you either have to find street parking or park in a paid lot, so be sure to go earlier than your reservation time but it is definitely worth it.Vegetarian options: You can choose your sandwiches and there's a variety of delicious vegetarian options to choose from: carrots and cheese (my fav), flower petals cream cheese, cucumber, or goat cheese and tomato

My Dearest friend and I went here yesterday afternoon. The atmosphere was lovely ? and the very nice greeting from one of the waiters was so pleasant. From the tea to the sandwiches everything was delicious. The scones I especially enjoyed because they were so fresh and came warm. For me I love that. Thank you for a lovely afternoon ?Bonnie Dean

I am surprised this place is popular, because it is definitely not what I had expected,First, this place is pack with people, very noisy, dirty. it's located inside a old building, with old and moldy decorations all around the room, once you enter you can sell old building, food is really not good enough to be charged for 45 dollars, tea pot are all placed randomly on the table, they can't even find matching set to use, it's ridiculous. Service is so lousy. Parking is difficult. I wish I can say one good about this place, but I can't. The experience was poor.

It was disgusting this should not be considered afternoon tea!!! Uncomfortable chairs very small table for 4 people. Could not even fit the food on the small table. 1 star!

What a gorgeous place! The atmosphere was breathtakingly beautiful. The food is fairly standard afternoon tea fare — tea sandwiches, scones, petit fours, small pastry bites, etc. The tea blends we ordered (lavender Earl Grey and China rose) were fragrant and the floral flavor wasn’t overpowering.I do wish the tea pots came with tea cozys to help the tea stay hot but overall we had an enjoyable experience here.

You go there for the ambiance and the atmosphere of the place. There is nothing special about the food. The tea sandwiches is two pieces of toast with a filling divided into 4 smaller portions. The salads are decent and the teas are good. If you get a pot, it can get lukewarm if you leave it for a while.
