The two security guards are just racist, period. Both of thm just get close to my ears and said Ching Ching chong Ching Chang. At first i thought it was because of the music was too loud that i couldn't understand, and they said it again! I said what the fuck and they were just like "We're all cool man!" What should i say? Should I say "Well Well Well" back to them? Nasty as hell! Will never come back!

Tony was our bartender. He was funny and had jokes. The only thing I could say is that I was a little indecisive over what beer I wanted, and Tony could've asked me a couple of questions as to what I usually drink and make some suggestions... But other than that place was cool...this is by no means picking on you Tony... you made up for it with the jokes that you made! The bar atmosphere gives me grown-up college frat vibes, which is cool... A lot of TV is good place to watch sports. They were playing good music on the jukebox. I liked it. I had a good time did not order any food... But it's a cool spot to meet your friends and have a good time.

Visited this bar last weekend for a bite to eat and a drink with my wife. We ordered 12 wings and the chicken tenders. The menu on display had the prices listed wrong for both items, and we were charged more than what was listed. When we brought this to the bartender’s attention she said that they forgot to update the menu and wouldn’t match the listed price. Not good at all.

Not a great experience. The service was terrible and I’m not sure how you can go wrong with drinks but they were

Service was terrible, the drinks were awful. This isn't the spot to go to. Everyone is complaining about something, it's not a great bar experience.

Yes, a real dive bar in Pasadena with a speak easy down stairs, unfortunately it was closed this evening. Drinks were going, lots and lots of Dodgers parifanalia, if you care for them.

good beer list, but if you’re going to have a nitro beer on tap then you need to train your bartenders on how to pour it

Randomly decided to pop into this bar after watching a friends band perform down the street. We are not sports people and this kind of bar would not typically be something we would seek out, but we were pleasantly surprised by the fun atmosphere, kind service, and great drinks! Great selection of beer and cocktails, both pool tables and arcade games to play, and the bartender was super nice. We will definitely be back next time we find ourselves in Pasadena, wish it was close enough to us to visit more often!

This spot is a staple in LA. If you have never heard of it you either are visiting or you never stepped foot in Pasadena. It is a traditional sports bar equipped with a juke box, pool tables, and a speakeasy downstairs. It's always a good vibe here. The food is nothing special, but then again...it's not known for it either. The bartenders at night are good ppl and have a heavy pour. Pretty decent service.

I came here Saturday night and I was trying to get a drink for myself and buddy. Bartender served everyone except us? Even the guy next to me and he came after me. I think it was clear that the bartender was discriminating me. I left immediately after. Why else serve everyone around me. Even a group of girls that got their second or third drink.. I realize I was the only minority it seemed like.. even one bartender looked me dead in the eye and didn't say word.

Came to the 35'er last night with the wife. It seems every time we come, there's always a wait to get served. Takes forever ever to get a drink. Bartenders are nice, but they need more bartenders.

This past Saturday I served as an Uber for my better half driving her to Pasadena to meet up with one of our close and dear friends. My wifey and her Bestie had a planned outing to SoFi Stadium to watch Ed Sheeran perform in concert. Of course I'll move mountains for my BFF, so I agreed to this, but I had to kill time for 9 hours. One thing I knew that could expend a few hours was to find a sports bar/restaurant that was showing the latest UFC event. Finding a bar showing a UFC event in Pasadena was more difficult than I thought. After walking to a few sports bars, I luckily found The 35er, which was showing UFC's latest installment on one television. The 35er is a sports bar that has an abundant amount of televisions for your sports viewing pleasure. It is located in the heart of downtown Pasadena on Fair Oaks Avenue and famed Colorado. It is across from a Pottery Barn, flanked by Chef Tony Dim Sum and Hello Gelato, and it's across the street from Cheesecake Factory. There is public garage parking, which cost me $15, but it allowed me to park for a long duration. This San Diego Padre fanatic was in enemy territory as The 35er is an homage to Los Angeles sports teams and sports personalities. There is outdoor table seating, inside table and counter seating, and of course seating at the bar. I was told by friendly people associated with the bar that The 35er allows you to bring food from the outside, which was too cool. The female bartender and the dude who served me provided noteworthy customer service and their customer service all around is why I'm rating The 35er four stars. I don't drink, so the only reason you'll see me at a bar will be to catch a UFC Pay Per View that I didn't purchase at home. You might be thinking what a non drinker would purchase at a bar. My family and friends know my go to non alcohol drink is the manly Shirley Temple. Since I was parking my tush for a few hours to watch some pugilistic competition, I decided to purchase my tried and true plus order french fries. As I stated above, The 35er allows you to bring outside food, but probably with the stipulation that you purchase beverages. The Shirley Temple was okay, but I really enjoyed their seasoned fries. They were the potato wedges style french fries, which were cooked to a golden brown, they were cooked to order, and they were a tasty snack for me to munch on while I got my UFC fix on. Make sure to ask for the hot sauce and ranch, then mix those two condiments and dip to your heart's content. If I ever venture out with my Bestie for a concert she's enjoying with her BFF and I need to kill an exorbitant amount of hours, I'm stopping by The 35er and checking to see if they're showing a UFC event. I'll try some of the other grub they serve and I'll enjoy the quality customer service by their staff.

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at this bar while celebrating my niece's birthday with a group of about 15 people. We were excited to explore the two levels of the bar, each playing different music. Our enthusiasm quickly turned to frustration due to the treatment we received.Initially, things seemed promising as we checked out the bottom floor. We had confirmed with a bartender upstairs that we could take our drinks down there, but as soon as we settled in, a different bartender approached us and rudely told us we had to leave. We tried to explain the situation, but our attempts fell on deaf ears. More staff members joined in, all insisting that we leave the premises without providing any clear reason. Our group had collectively spent over $500 during our time at the bar, and it was incredibly disheartening to be treated this way. When we stepped outside to figure out what had gone wrong, the owner himself came out and unleashed a tirade of profanities and insults at us. The hostile behavior and ugly stares made us feel humiliated and belittled. As Mexican-Americans, we couldn't help but feel that we were being racially profiled and discriminated against. It's appalling to think that individuals in the business world can harbor such hate and disregard for their customers. Despite the bar's lively atmosphere, the actions of these few individuals completely marred our experience. The owner's behavior was beyond unacceptable. Yelling, cussing, and treating customers in such a disrespectful manner is a stain on any establishment's reputation. It's clear that this owner should reconsider their involvement in the business, as their actions are driving away loyal customers. On top of the terrible treatment, the drinks offered weren't impressive and were overpriced. It's disappointing to see such a promising venue soured by the actions of a few. Sadly, I won't be returning to this bar, and I urge others to think twice before spending their hard-earned money here.In the end, the discriminatory treatment, the owner's outburst, and the overpriced drinks overshadowed any potential enjoyment we could have had. It's disheartening to see a place with potential ruined by the actions of a few individuals who clearly lack respect for their customers.

Shady people come here looking to pick a fight. Don't come here unless you are looking for trouble.
