I ordered a fresh pizza for to go and it looks like leftovers that were put together. As if they took separate slices, added some cheese on top, and re melted them. The crusts don't even align on the slices.

Located in the historic Del Mar train station, the Otis Bar is connected to La Grande Orange Café, which is also part of The Luggage Room Pizzeria. Dubbed the culinary campus, I've dinned in all three on separate occasions. Tonight, I was here to meet friends for Happy Hour at The Otis Bar. The bar is cute and cozy and was named after the owner's dog. There are number of portraits of Otis on the wall. The large back windows open up into the courtyard creating an Alfresco feel. The best thing is - Happy Hour is not limited to an hour! It's Monday - Friday from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. with 50% off menu items. That's a great deal! Sarah, our server, was fantastic and took good care of us. She had a wonderful personality. The menu combines items from The Luggage Room & La Grande Orange. We ordered The "Del Mar" Salad and the Vegetarian Tacos. I started with a glass of sparkling rosé (Victorine de Chastenay) and later had a glass of the LGO 'Pere Lachaise' Blanc de Blancs. Both were crisp and refreshing. The salad was lovely with an ample amount of shrimp ceviche, jumbo crab, tomatoes, olives, avocado on a bed of shredded iceberg lettuce with Russian Dressing on the side. It was tasty and the crab was fresh and sweet. The Vegetarian Tacos came with freshly made corn tortillas, guacamole, Pico de Gallo, housemade cashew cheese, and sautéed farmer's market vegetables. It also came with a side of Kale Salad, but we substituted the seasoned fries. The tortillas were warm and soft. The guacamole had a nice flavor. The sautéed vegetables were delicious, and the fries were perfectly seasoned. The cashew cheese had a nice flavor and went well with the fries. The portion size of each dish was generous. Perfect for two to share. I recommend both. I'm bummed that they no longer offer complimentary samples of their Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookies, but they are packaged and available for purchase along with their housemade English Muffins and Marion Blackberry Jam. Parking is $1 for two hours in the adjacent lot and $2 for every hour afterwards.

Wow! We stopped at this casual bar/restaurant on the drive home from Palm Springs at the Pasadena exit. Loved the vibe, the food and the drinks ! The pizza crust & sauce were unexpectedly delicious! The chopped salad was fresh & light with a tasty vinaigrette! The drinks were yummy as well. The servers were very friendly & we plan on returning for sure.

Besides the angsty hostess energy, this was a unique and fun experience. There's two restaurants, that are the same restaurant, but have different menus, but the same, or maybe different, staff. Hard to say, I couldn't keep up. We sat outside in the scorching heat wave and somehow survived. Must've been the cocktails, those were good. For real though, the deviled eggs were freaking epic. Ya'll got me. The gluten-free gladiator pizza was everything, and more. All the carbs you will ever need. And our server, who was putting up with a heat wave and a bunch of tipsy loud adults, was such a delight. She was all smiles and made our experience that much sweeter.

A solid spot if you're looking for a brunch spot with vegetarian and gluten-free options. It's a seat yourself kind of deal. Our food came out really fast (probably because it was slow when we came). I ordered a gluten-free Shattuck Ave. pizza and it did not disappoint. Probably one of the best gf crusts I've had in a minute. My mom ordered the eggs benedict and it was a miss unfortunately. It seemed a bit undercooked and weirdly seasoned. We were also confused that pineapple juice was offered as a juice option but it came in a tiny dole can. It was a bit misleading but everything was good otherwise. Would definitely come back for the pizza! 8.5/10

I just got back from the luggage room! My boyfriend and I enjoyed our delicious meal with our 2 dogs. You should definitely come here if you have a dog as they are dog friendly. We ordered the Nachos with everything on the side and they were just delicious. We always order the nachos here, and they never disappoint! I had the Gluten-Free Margherita Pizza and it gets 5 stars from me. My boyfriend can say the same about his Gladiator Pizza! He's from Chicago and I am from New York, and neither of us have ever enjoyed California pizza UNTIL we found the Luggage Room. It's truly the best pizza we've had in our last few years living in CA. I also loved that my Diet Coke was not from the fountain-- it was straight from the can. Everything came out very fast, and we were so wowed by the service that we added a cash tip on top of the one we left at the Kiosk. Now, here's why they get 4 stars: homeless people bother us every time we come here. This is seriously disruptive to our meal and leaves us feeling unsafe as the staff have never intervened. Today, there was a homeless man that wouldn't leave us alone and kept asking if he could eat our pizza. I feel bad that he was hungry, but we were still eating our food and just wanted to enjoy our meal. He got vocally hostile and got very close to us to the point where we felt unsafe. I understand that they can't control who passes through the outdoor area, but there should be some team member keeping watch and making an effort to intervene when these situations occur. We still love the Luggage Room, though, and we will return!

A Pasadena staple. A must try. A best in town for sure!!!!! The luggage room is one of my all time favorite places in Pasadena. Great vibe paired with excellent ingredients is for sure a good time for lunch or dinner! I've been coming here for years and it has never disappointed! The limelight drink is hands down my favorite drink. Not only at this restaurant but EVER! It's got the perfect amount of spice and kick to it. Can't go wrong with a gladiator pizza or padre as well. The kale salad is a refreshing started great for sharing and pairs perfect with any pizza. Make sure to validate! Parking is available located directly next door. They even have free EV charging!

Tasty wood-fired pizza close to home with cheap parking YAY! We are trying new pizza places and this one came up. We've been to the Otis Bar next door many times but this was our first time here. I liked the mushroom festival and hubby liked the Shattuck Ave. turns out both are vegetarian extra bonus! We ordered from the kiosk and ate inside. B very good service and plenty of leftovers. House wines are $9 per glass. Cheap parking next door at the Del Mar station parking lot $1 for the first two hrs.

I had a great first experience having brunch at the La Grande Orange side of the business! I ordered and shared a steak (I don't remember the name of the cut of meat) and the lemon pancakes. Ordered the steak medium rare and as you can see from my photo, they delivered on that. The meat was very juicy and tender and I enjoyed it a lot, and I'm not typically one to order a steak at all. It comes with a horseradish dip that I thought paired really well with the steak (and I don't like horseradish!). The French fries were deliciously seasoned and brought me back to my childhood because they tasted just like fries from another cafe I used to frequent. The pancakes were good too; the lemon flavor isn't too overpowering which is good because I don't really like lemon in my sweets. We also got the sangria pitcher, and you guessed it, I don't usually like to drink sangria, but their sangria was like a fruity and elevated version of a mimosa, so very yummy. Overall, this experience was just me eating a bunch of foods that I don't really enjoy or usually order, but ended up really enjoying everything during my visit and I think everything was executed perfectly. We also asked about their chocolate chip cookies at the end of our meal! They cost extra but come in a little box and they're delicious and have a touch of sea salt on them. I've been dying to go back.

I'm so glad to be back. It's been at least 10 years since I've eaten here. We ordered using their new kiosk system. It was pretty easy with pictures, descriptions and options to customize the items. Or you can also order with your server. The staff was very attentive and service was great. We ordered pepperoni with added burrata, chopped salad with fried chicken, and drinks. (old fashion & grapefruit basil gimlet) Grapefruit drink was very refreshing on a hot afternoon. They have limited outdoor seating, and good to know they have Happy hour.

Little Caesar's sounds so good right now! Even 711 pizza is better. So I saw this place on Yelp. And it was the only pizza spot open late on a Thursday. I knew it was going to be expensive when I noticed you had to pay for parking and it's a sit-in type of restaurant. Super salty! The pizza. Not me. Well, maybe me too. Because of this pizza though. $20. Size is meh. But what really upset me was when I ordered it, I always get my pizzas well done because I don't like the raw-ish center and undercooked cheese. You know? You pick up the slice and it all just slips off? Well, that's exactly what happened. The meats were super salty. I had just done 26 miles on my bike and I was starving. So I ate maybe half of it. Till I just couldn't. I boxed it, took it home, then trashed it. Service was good. "Erlene" was my server. She was so nice. Side note: I noticed she was the only one cleaning/working/sweeping while the pizza guys and other staff were just laughing and talking. Maybe they were on their break? None of my business. But if they were on the clock, not cool. In conclusion, I tipped my server because she did well. But I'd really, really like a do-over or something. Because I paid $20 for cheap quality, raw, salty pizza. Other than that, I'm not coming back. And I really hate leaving less than 3 stars.

Finally, after all these years they've combined the two businesses together and it's better than ever. One of the greatest pizzas and most affordable bars to drink at in Los Angeles. Many will dispute this claim for some big name on the westside, but having tried those places, they cannot compare to what Luggage Room offers. Fresh ingredients on top of a well-executed natural starter, wood-fired crust. Is this the "authentic Napolitan pizza?" I wouldn't be the one to ask. But does authenticity mean good? I don't think so. If anything, authenticity is an overrated misunderstood false paradigm that distracts us from appreciating what is great right in front of us. This time around we ordered a 3:10 to Pasadena with basil, pepperoni, and extra cheese, The Farmer's Market: today that was a roast peaches and burrata deal, topped with arugula. We also got the chopped salad with the crispy chicken breast. Yes, this was for two people. And yes, of course we had leftovers. We aren't monsters. The extra cheese here is not something be taken lightly. If you want extra cheese, they hit it hard. Be ready for the dairy explosion. The farmer's market pizzas vary depending on what's available at, of course, the farmer's market. It changes constantly and that's what is so great about it. We've gotten it multiple times and it's been great every time. Chopped salad with the added chicken breast is the move. A perfect pre-pizza appetizer to prevent any hangry dinner table fights. Overall, you can't go wrong with any of the pies. Enjoy, eat pizza. Be free.

I was recommended to try out this pizza place and glad to have dinner here tonight! They offer a self served kiosk out in the front where you can make your own orders / food selections with detailed photos and ingredients which including vegan and gluten free options Atmosphere was friendly and wonderful for families and get togethers... Servers were very efficient & courteous . They kept on coming back to check on our party which made our dining experiences super special!!! Pizza was one of the most tasty gourmet pizzas I've ever tasted here in So Cal with reasonable prices.. Wonderful casual dining, great food, --highly recommended.
