I ate there when they first opened in January 2024; unfortunately I ordered an egg mcmuffin like sandwich for a late breakfast/early lunch and I got physically sick later in the day (the runs until midnight). I should have reported them to the Pasadena Health department.

Where do I begin, from amazing breakfast burritos to their burgers. Has to be one of the most amazing customer service experiences I've ever had in a cafe. Food overall is amazing, fresh pastries and those cinnamon rolls wow! This cafe has everything, the music is fantastic and relaxing.

After being closed during COVID, it's exciting to have the Refectory open once again. Jose and his team have done an amazing job revamping the interior, bringing delicious, wholesome options to the menu, and supporting and catering for Fuller Seminary events. It is a convenient spot for student of Fuller and local schools nearby, but also an excellent option for visitors or passersby who want a quick bite. This is a team who cares about customers, so be sure to tell them thank you as they work to provide the best experience.

After a meeting at a local office one of the group members suggested that we go over to the new Refectory at Fuller Seminary. The ambiance inside is clean, bright and comfortable. The menu is a bit limited, but you can get breakfast burritos, scrambles, burgers, sandwiches, and salads. Apparently, they have fresh pastries in the morning, but they must be really good because they were all gone by noon. There are Stubborn brand sodas as well as bottled beverages. There is also freshly brewed coffee and iced tea. The gentleman who took our orders was very welcoming and polite. All special order requests were pleasantly accommodated. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It is a no cash establishment and, according to the menu, is run by Huntington Catering. It appeared to be a popular spot since most of the tables were full. For a simple breakfast or lunch this was a surprising hidden gem.

When I visited, they were not open —limited hours, open for breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday. Very pleasant outdoor patio area to sit, and from what I could see, the inside looked nice! PROMISING FOR NEXT VISIT!! The entrance to the patio and cafe is next to the library, on the Fuller Theological Seminary campus. Banner proclaims: Open To The Public.
