I'm not too much a fan of fries these days, but the chicken was incredible! I wish the wasabi flavor came through a bit more, but it was all really good. Very nice owner and employee, great experience all around. A bit expensive for me, but so is everything in Pasadena. They seemed to go really hard in on the branding and I hope it pays off!!

Chicken made my stomach upset. Food had no flavor unless you count grease as a flavor. Staff looked lost in the sauce. Forced myself to throw up the food so I could feel better.

First time there, and I ended up getting their wings (super yummy)! But what really hooked me was their amazing customer service! It's such a clean restaurant, with an assortment of condiments and drink varieties-- highly highly recommend!

After being on the waitlist for what felt like an eternity at Lunasia, I gave up and decided to go to Tokyo Chick just down the street. Super eclectic storefront, with a guy in a chicken suit that you can take pictures with, a game where you can win a little nightlight, and friendly service. You can order from the kiosks or at the cashier, and it takes about 10 minutes to come out. The bentos are surprisingly filling, and the chicken and fries combo was generous. Personally I recommend the Tokyo Spicy flavor, and there is a sauce bar to serve yourself. The chicken came out freshly fried, with crispy and crunchy breading. The takeout boxes are so cute and WILL NOT open on you because of the e ay they are designed. They also give you a reusable bag that you can bring in to get a free musubi the next time you visit. All in all, a breath of fresh air in the DT Pasadena area, and I will be back.

The BEST! ? The tastiest fried chicken and the most wonderful service and attention to detail. The chicken sandwich is massive and so deliciously seasoned and perfectly crisp. The homemade sauces like the wasabi mayo and Tokyo spicy were so delicious! The wedge fries were also delicious! My new favorite chicken spot. Not only are the flavors amazing but the staff is wonderful and so very kind. The presentation of the food is so cute. You can tell the love and care they put into the food! My new fave spot!Plus I love their chicken mascot he’s so adorable! Also if you can’t find street parking there’s a lot across the street that’s 90 minutes free with validation (just run into H&M).

We don't come by Old Town Pasadena too often so when we stopped by Tokyo Chick, we went all out on our ordering: * 6 pc garlic soy wings combo with fountain drink ($15.49) * katsu curry bento box ($15.49) * spicy chicken sandwich ($9.49) * spam musubi ($3.99) * katsu musubi ($4.99) * spam and tamago musubi ($4.99) For $1.50 more, I upgraded the fountain drink in the wings combo for their specialty drinks -- I tried their honey green tea. My favorites out of the order were the spicy chicken sandwich (it's HUGE!!) and all of their musubis. They have around three booths and a long counter for indoor seating. If you come during a busy time, it'll be easier to take to-go. Make sure to check in on Yelp for a free chick night light. Parking can be a challenge in Pasadena. I like coming after 6 pm for the free meters (look around the city hall area for open spots).

The food is good. The service is friendly. The restaurant is quaint. It was cool with the chick theme, especially watching the guy in the chick suit walking around.

We loved coming here. Food was great, highly recommend the katsu curry, spam Musibi, and the signature crispy chicken wings, which you can add any kinds of sauces. Also the fat fries are perfectly crispy but soft in the inside and nice balance of flavor. The manager is very friendly and welcoming as well, it's a win all across the board. We'll definitely be coming back!
