Great little family owned mexican food restaurant! Food is tasty, and I love that they purposely make it healthier than other places. Service is good, and they have a happy hour! I loved the tortillas made by hand and the carne asada fries nor to mention my kids enjoyed their kids meal :) Great family place!

This place is comfortable, clean, and nice. The food is delicious. You have a choice to choose black beans, refried beans, or frijoles de la Olla with your order. The service is good.?

Given them 1 star only because I have too, to leave a comment. Who let this ppl sell Mexican food. This place is garbage. Food was trash. Can't even make simple Mexican rice or beans. Service was good and food looked amazing just taste like shit. Do not recommend. I paid $50 for food that was not eatable. Avoid coming here for "Mexican food" and save your money people.

Had a long night at the ER with a family member cafeteria was changing to lunch so no hot food - decided to walk across the street and I'm so glad I did! Asked for suggestion and server was so friendly and spot on. I had the Cali breakfast burrito it was as huge, sorry forgot to take picture. The restaurant is nice inside plenty of seats and a bar. If you're at Huntington Hospital and you can walk across the street this is amazing food and great price! Or if you're in the area try it out!

I ordered Chicken Pozole and a side of rice. The pozole was bad. There was a strange fermented taste to it. The rice was squishy and had a stale smell to it. Sorry, not sorry!

Steak fajitas was amazing, but just okay the second time. Mostly excellent with more veggies than most Mexican food restaurants.

I made a casual visit the mini mall across Huntington Hospital in Pasadena the other day. I wanted to eat a bowl of PHO' (Vietnamese hot bowl of beef noodle but they were closed of the midday break afternoon). So I tool a few more explorations of the neighbors store and I entered Urbano restaurant for lunch. The lady owner greeted me right away upon seeing my enter'.g through the entrance. I lived 10 yrs. in the Hispanic's neighborhood of Covina, CA before so this is not a surprise at all.But in this well-to-do Pasadena Mall, it considered to be strange. since Most not ALL the Pasadena residents are very shy and unconcerned of the outsiders. They are cold and showing no feeling/talking intention when I started asking some questions. info. about their City. I ordered my lunch at table and within 3 minutes my tacos came. Fast since this was the late Happy hour of Urbano. A + point : They gave free small basket of tortillas as snacks to me too. ( I didn't drink Beer/ wine which are the only alcohols Urbano offers in this restaurant's daily menu.) The owner and her sister are fast servicing me as I expected. Fish tacos are fresh, ok 4 pts. ( 5 max pts. only for Laurel Canyon's "Guarajahazara?" restaurant of No HO.) Everything of Urbano Ceviche services are good. That's all for this 4-* ratings today!Dietary restrictions: Not high-calories for for me, full meals at lunch are not recommended by my current care physician.Parking: right in front door of Urbano is a big Park' lot but be careful and park the vehicles slowly with care: the park' spots are small/narrow.

My husband and I stopped by for take-out. Great salads with fresh ingredients. Would definitely come here again and try more of their menu.

Love the pozole and tacos. They have great lunchtime deals. The service is attentive and vibes are chill and clean.

Spacious, clean, quiet and excellent service. Super cold beer on tap, plenty of room at the bar and in the dining area. Great homemade salsa with chips to start. Tried the Gordita with asada, urbano taco and grilled shrimp taco, all solid. Great prices and a happy hour to boot. Lastly, lots of parking... why go 100 feet further up the road for mediocre Mexican in a place that smells like Fabuloso when you can dine here? Enough said.

WOW! This place is a 10/10 on my book. I ordered tacos de carne asada a side of beans and rice and I was not disappointed. The carne asada was delicious! My partner ordered a burrito de chile verde and he loved it as well. The portions were decent for the price. The service was good too. Was greeted by a nice woman! The restaurant looked clean and well taken care of. Definitely coming back again.
