I'm visiting from out of town and was excited to fine a gluten free bakery near my hotel. I showed up at 9am on Saturday and they were not open. I waited 10minutes and finally got the attention of an employee who didn't know when they would be open and kept saying she had no food ready. Horrible service, why have business hours at all if you won't keep to them.

They have gluten free options! I tried the vanilla cupcake with lavender topping. It wasn't knock your socks off good but I'm grateful for the GFree option. Nice place to study, do work or meet up with a friend. I didn't get the greatest service but it wasn't bad.

I had to get a birthday cake for some friends who were both lactose intolerant and had egg allergies. A friend recommended Valentines. The people took my order and I got the can't the next day with a $5 discount to boot! Tastes wonderful and my friends loved it too. If you're parking be careful though. Pasadena cops are quick to ticket. I saw someone getting a parking ticket.

Beautiful and delicious custom birthday cake! We had an egg-free chocolate cake with raspberry. We ordered 5 days ahead and all went smoothly. It is a cute cafe, and looks like a great place to stop for a pastry as well, though I was just stopping in to grab the cake.

They were unfortunately out of the tea cakes when I came to the bakery, even early in the day. My friend enjoyed the vegan cupcakes I got for her instead though (matcha and lemon lavender). 4 stars because they were insanely expensive, $6 per cupcake and they were pretty small (more expensive than Sprinkles and much smaller).

We were in a hurry to a wedding. The father of the bride is lactose intolerant. We called multiple bakeries in the area and nobody had any deserts without dairy (I know, it's a stretch to even inquire). Valentin Sweets had quite a few sweet treats which were vegan, so no dairy or egg. Such artistry in the design and execution of their desserts.It was so great to be able to provide a delightful dessert for the father of the bride.
