my husband and i love ordering delivery from y&j gourmet! we’ve never had a dish we didn’t like, and the service has always been friendly and prompt. ordering y&j on nye has become a tradition and we always order a tonne of food so we have leftovers for days. highly recommend the spicy eggplant and spicy chicken wontons! they also have monthly specials if you subscribe to their emails. thanks for another delicious nye meal, y&j!Vegetarian options: there are lots of vegetable dishes as well as noodle and rice dishes that can be made to be vegetarian. can’t confirm if all sauces used are veg, so you should double check!

I have ordered take out many times. Very good food and still hot at delivery. Kung Pao is good and spicy, and Garlic Chicken (w/out veggies for the kids) is popular around here. They have Peking Duck, which I ordered once and was nice, but they don't offer any of the accoutrements that usually go with it. I'm not Asian and don't know what else to do with this glorious duck without a wrapper of some sort, scallion, etc. I also wish they offered Mu Shu. Y & J is the best in the area for what we're looking for.

We recently just moved in the area from Eagle Rock & we were super happy to have an Asian spot close by to our new home. We ordered from door dash and portions were great and the food super tasty. We've picked up another order 2 weeks later. We love supporting local businesses. Super friendly staff as well!

I've been eyeing the place for some time and not sure if it's actually open and after placing a to go order, food was piping hot, delicious and very seriously difficult to put down/away. It was a little more on the price/cost than I expected, as one sort of assumes with a quiet not exactly a sit down/dine shop, but it is very delicious and portions are good!

I ordered the Mapo Tofu and Braised Green Beans and I would order it again! The serving was generous and it was delicious, so what else can I say. The restaurant itself is catered for takeout and no dining. It's also located at the corner of tow bust streets so finding parking is a little difficult. I had to park around the corner near the neighborhood for pickup. The service was great tho. It didn't take long for my order to be ready for pick up. Overall, great experience and food. I'd order from this restaurant again.

We wanted to dine in and needed the restroom. We ordered and they told us that they do not have a restroom for the customers.We had to cancel the order and leave… dirty place.
I have been looking for a Chinese whole in the wall, and pass by here 4 times a week! I noticed a car had gone through the front window quite a while back and they never fixed it so figured it was closed down!So I was with a friend and after convincing him that sometimes the dump only look that way!Well was I ever wrong!!! The place was beyond filthy!My friend ordered the orange chicken which was not to bad except overly spiced! I'm vegetarian so ordered vegetable /eggplant it was absolutely the nastiest dish I have ever had! The eggplant was mushy, very little vegetables and it looked liked they the grease as sauce!This place is so bad and filthy I do not understand how anyone could trust the quality of food that comes out of there

I bought food for someone else and had it delivered. It showed up at time they said. The portions were big. My bf had beef and broccoli, a noodle with chicken that was on special and veg fried rice. He said it was awesome. I had some rice next day, really good. Bf got few meals out of it and I had 3 bowls of rice for next 3 days. Very satisfied with food and delivery.
