The photos of this place looked great so I booked the vineyard tour/tasting. I was expecting a dry tour of the grounds/barreling room but it exceeded my expectations by far! We were visiting for my dad's 60th birthday and many of the folks in my group had never been to a winery and boy! did it blow their socks off! Rory was our tour guide and he was by far the most informative wine expert we encountered. We had a lot of questions and he answered every single one in detail. We felt like wine experts when we left. The Allegretto property was so thoughtfully laid out and knowing all the details of the planning that went into it made the experience that much more special. Our group left so happy(and buzzed) and even signed up to be members of the wine club! AMAZING SERVICE! Every staff member we passed in the hall had a smile and a hello for us. We will probably stay at the resort the next time we are in town. Highly recommend this spot and the tour with Rory! The Doug guy who created the space is a genius. It's really like a mini Europe in California.

Beautiful surroundings w a thought provoking art collection. But the wines lack complexity and most have tannin aftertastes. Very disappointed w the wines yet the surroundings are remarkable

Just lousy service. The server with the dark hair was wonderful, unfortunately she wasn't our server. We had the server with light brown, shoulder length hair. She lacks good server skills. Basically ignored us!

First time in Paso Robles, and picked the Allegretto Resort online before flying into the US. Beautiful resort with friendly staff. Lots of vineyards to visit in the area for wine tasting. Glad we decided to stay for two nights. The activities on the resort are focussed between Thursday to Sunday, so we missed out on those, as we arrived Sunday evening. But we enjoyed the relaxing vibe, and wine and dinner was great at Ristorante Cello in the hotel.

My wife recommended visiting Paso Robles for a couple years but kept I get pushing it off. It was her birthday so I surprised her with a weekend at Allegretto Vineyards. What an amazing place! With the beautiful Tuscany style resort and friendly atmosphere, it felt like we transported to another time. What a gem!

It’s our families favorite place to stay when we visit Paso Robles, it’s beautiful! No matter where you stay in this place, every location is unique. It’s lovely to take a little stroll around and my kids absolutely love the pool and hot tub, it’s always perfect!

Beautiful location and very good wines. They squeezed us in without a reservation, which was nice. We sat outside. Their wines are very nice. Tasting room staff are very friendly.

We love Allegretto as a home base for wine tasting and wine events in Paso. Beautiful facility with lots of special features. The resort tour is a must to see the art, statues and the musical influences. Don’t miss the sonic maze and remember to look up at the fascinating chandelier when you register for your stay.

My wife and I wanted to sincerely thank General Manager Rich Verruni and staff member John for all the help they gave us at Allegretto Vineyard Resort. We had a four-night stay planned for the week of 2/13/2023 that included catching up with out-of-state family, regional wine-tasting, and dinners. On Tuesday (Valentines Day), we enjoyed the "sip-and-paint" activity that Allegretto offered. Later that afternoon, I wasn't feeling well that ultimately resulted in a 9-1-1 call and a trip to the Twin City Community Hospital. While surrounded by paramedics and ambulance staff in the room, Rich and staff were there to provide support and offer any help that we might need. Rich and the Allegretto went above and beyond what was expected and for that, we are grateful. This is our second visit to the hotel, and we will be back!

Wonderful hotel and location in Paso Robles. Well kept grounds, great art and service was very good. I will definitely be back. From check in to check out the service was attentive. The details of art throughout were super cool. The only thing I had a slight issue with was the temp of the room.

Met my girlfriend at Allegretto Resort for a sip/spa couple of days. The resort was beyond belief beautiful. The architecture and grounds are stunning with amazing art throughout the resort and grounds. We had a double queen room off the central courtyard. It was sparkling clean with high ceilings, comfortable bed and linens, a great bathroom and doors leading out to the courtyard. The staff was incredible - from the front desk, to the wait and maintenance staff. So much to do without leaving the resort. An onsite restaurant and bar and for fun cornhole, bocci ball, pingpong, a gorgeous pool, 24 hour fitness center, bicycles and tandems. There are beautifully appointed seating areas (several near a fireplace or fire pit), a tasting room. Everything you could want for a special get away. The one and only downside was the Spa. I had a facial that was mediocre at best yet premium priced. It was a shock after the top shelf experience with the resort. I found out that the spa is outsourced, which explains the less-than-stellar spa experience. I suggest making an appointment elsewhere for spa treatments but don't let that stop you from staying at this wonderful resort!

We randomly chose this magical spot through TripAdvisor and other reviews last minute stop in Paso Robles enroute to San Fran. It’s everything that was said and more. The off season proved to be a nice time to stay without the crowds and the price. Time was spent sitting by the fire in the foyer, roaming the gardens and admiring all of the art around every turn. An empty fridge for your drinks at night along with comfy beds and large rooms. It felt like an Italian oasis in the central coastal area. It’s not among the other vineyards in the hills, but once on the grounds you felt like you were in a secret garden. The TV channel describing the grounds was very informative as well. Highly recommend the Allegretto for your stay.
