We had such an amazing four-hour visit to Firestone Walker. We were in Paso Robles for an anniversary weekend getaway. While my wife likes wine tasting, I'm not as enthused. Beer, on the other hand, is another story. I reserved the Barrel Room Tour which is more expensive than their regular tour and only once on Saturday and Sunday. But before our 2pm tour, we needed lunch so we figured it was a good idea to use the Taproom restaurant. Went there and ordered via QR code which is how they're doing it. We are a large warm pretzel and salads. I couldn't decide on beverages so for a tasting flight which was delicious and enjoyable. The tour was amazing. Our tour guide Chris was knowledgeable and funny. He was super encouraging to ask questions and easy about time. We had 3 oz. samples during the tour and then more after the tour. You also get FW swag. As much as I love 805, I only tried other beers while on site. My biggest regret was not buying beer to go! I had tasted beers all day (via 3 oz. glasses and I didn't finish all) so I was burnt out on beer at the end. This is the Willy Wonka Factory for beer. So fun.

We had the best food and service that we thought was not possible. Now we know where to go if we want great food and service Our server was Sarah and she was the best!

Always good experiences here! Love their pizzas and of course, their beer. Ask for Katjia in the bar - she always takes great care of us!

Food is great. Eating in the patio area is not so great since it's been turned over to the dogs. In my opinion leave your dog at home so I can have a peaceful meal without barking and yelping dog. At least have a separate area.

The food and beer here is absolutely delicious! I had the ahi wanton tacos and god I wish there were more because I feel like I could eat those all the time and never get sick of them! The staff is so friendly, even though they still do QR code servings the service was still outstanding. Britan, seemingly the manager, came by to check on the table multiple times as well and she was the best. Will be coming here again when looking for a great place to eat at in Paso!

This was our first time here and we had a great time. Pros- Dog friendly patio, kid friendly, heated patio, great food, good music Cons- I know this is a brewery but I felt like the beer was average for us. We love Deschutes in Oregon and are used to a stronger IPA. Their beer is on the lighter side. -Service was average. Friendly but very slow for not being very busy. Overall we had a great experience. :)

I'm only putting a 4 star down because the hostess "accidentally " deleted our spot on the waiting list. Anyways me and my girl came here I had 8 piece buffalo wings and a cali western smash burger and the pretzel. They Where both good. 8/10 for the burger pretzel was a 8/10 cheese sauce was good the mustard sauce was too much for me. My burger ended up taking wayyyyy too long but they made up for it. Not gonna say how but just know they did and it made me feel like they actually cared about their service. Oh and my girl had the ahi tacos she said they where 9/10

Just had extra tiny, greasy vegetarian tacos. Literally two pieces of corn, one thin slice of onion and an oily cheese sauce. Absolutely the worst tacos I have ever had. Only ate them Because it was 2:30 and I had no breakfast and all I could think is how expensive they were. No vegetables...

My boyfriend is a huge fan of Firestone so I surprised him with a tour at the brewery on our way to Santa Cruz. Alia was our tour guide. She was super cool and knew a lot about Firestone's beer and had no problem answering lots questions. After our tour she recommended we go to the taproom for dinner. It's right across the street! They had a ton of gastro pub options to choose from. We decided to go with the Korean Smash Burger and the Fig and Pig Smash Burger. They were some of the best burgers I've ever had! The Korean Smash Burger was sweet and spicy (like me!:) We also got the Crispy Short Rib Street Tacos, which are okay mini quesadillas but not so much tacos. We didn't eat much of that dish. Britton the manager, who is awesome came by to see how we were doing. I'm not a huge complainer but I did tell her that we didn't really like the tacos. She said she would be more than happy to get us something else but we were stuffed. So she insisted on taking them off the check AND brought us a complimentary flight! My favorite was the pajama one. Whoever decided to add marshmallows to a barrel aged beer knew what they were doing. YOU HAVE THE COOLEST PEOPLE WORKING AT FIRESTONE WALKER!!! I'd recommend the tour/taproom combo to anyone looking for a fun place to visit in Paso! We're planning on stopping by on our way back to LA this weekend for another good lunch and check out their gift shop next door!

I never knew Firestone Walker Brewery carried darker beer options. 805 gets all the love outside of their home base. So hard finding a decent porter or stout when almost everyone caters to the IPA & light beer drinkers. They have delicious porters & stouts for anyone who likes them bold and full bodied. Yummy pizza & burgers too! Chill atmosphere, friendly service with great beer & food is a come back reunion in the making.

Last Saturday we tried to go to lunch at this establishment. It looked like a fun place with good food and drinks. It was around 3 pm so it wasn't completely crowed. We checked in. There were no other people waiting. But for some reason, they just kept us waiting. We asked what was going on but the hostess just rolled her eyes and said they were cleaning up a table for us. After 30 minutes of no service we just left. Crossing this place off our list!!

I ordered the South of the Border Salad. I love salty foods but this salad was extremely salty - I could not bring myself to eat it. It hardly had any chicken either. It was very disappointing.

I've been here a handful of times over the last few years. I keep hoping it will improve, but it doesn't. The food is meh. I will say it is edible. I will also say it is NOT tasty. Their automated serving system is awful.  It's never easy knowing who our server is or if we even have one. It seems they have runners for each activity, i.e., drinks, food delivery, etc. Suffice to say, I've had to endure every meal here wanting or needing something. I've had dinner here with nothing to drink on more than one occasion. I've needed napkins, condiments, and silverware.I've stood at the reception desk while employee after employee passes me by with no acknowledgment. I won't ever eat here again. The prices are too high for such neglect. I'd rather eat at a gas station or fast food (which I seldom do) than give my money to this establishment. Too bad—such a great locale and vibe for such repeated abysmal experiences.

I used to love this place for their beer and food, but I gotta say...seeing 5 girls standing around doing absolutely nothing in a "now" self service restaurant is asinine. Don't bother tipping because they work as hard as a McDonalds employee (which is insulting to McDonalds, sorry). It's a real shame that is (along with others) business have profited from Covid and decided to go the self service route with food and expect their customers to tip. Save yourself the time and go to Tin City for real beer and great food without the corporate horrible service and product. So many better places to go..definitely my last time and being a local, that's saying a lot. Good luck!

Don't bother! The beer is okay, but they have the worst food delivery service I've ever seen! I've been here an hour waiting for the food with lots of food waiting to be delivered on the counter with warm lights. I'm not sure if they have a system but various people would look and deliver a dish. My fish tacos were cold...
