This is my go to place for sushi in Paso Robles. The food is always incredible and very fresh. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Modern and cozy ambiance. I recommend making a reservation.

SO surprised Goshi Paso Robles doesn't have better reviews. We've loved this place for many years, and while there have been some changes over time (raised prices, new decor & tables/chairs that cost money, numerous staffing changes, somewhat smaller portions over time), the one constant has always been quality sushi. And if you've ever had bad sushi, you know how important quality is! So much to love about their menu: Appreciate the extensive list of specials. Yellowtail Tataki appetizer is delicious. The hand rolls are incredible. And they have actual wasabi if you ask - not just the green horseradish paste! Excellent green iced tea. Generous ginger palate cleanser. Nigiri servings are exquisite. Edible art - each bite is to be savored. I'd be there every week if I could! Definitely the best sushi in town & better than every sushi place I've tried in the Bay Area. A true Central Coast gem.

What a pleasantly unexpected surprise. This sushi is amazing! Fresh and delicious with a huge variety to choose from. My husband splurged on the Uni... loved it. The Sunomono salad and miso soup were fresh and delicious, as were the fried shrimp and scallop rolls and the nigiri.

Miso soup is a good way to start a Japanese meal and Goshi's miso soup was delicious. We ordered the Kanpai Barrel and it was the perfect amount of food for two people. The sashimi was fresh and the sushi had the perfect ratio of rice and fish. We particularly enjoyed the shiso leaf in the snapper sushi. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Paso Robles.

Horrible- after 3 visits I'm done within the course of two years. Kept saying I'd give it another chance - ugh, shame on me. Horrible rude, delayed services with old product. Stringy fish, smelled old. We actually sent it back and then they offered to redo ( Sashimi) ! Why, it's still old fish. Not sure what all the hype is about but I'll never go back or recommend.

Nice Sushi. Simple modern and clean atmosphere. Decent service even thought it was a full restaurant. Food came out relatively fast and well-prepared. We had the larger mixed sushi platter which was great.

We were so delighted to find this wonderful sushi restaurant while on vacation. The fresh fish selections and “specials” were excellent! We could not stop trying something new! The chef and all the staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. We had our own suggestions to add to a dish and the chef was not only willing to indulge us, but he went above and beyond. We can’t wait to go back! What a find!!Vegetarian options: I go to a sushi restaurant to eat seafood, but there are many vegetarian options to choose from including salads, soup, rolls, tempura vegetables, etc.Parking: The restaurant is sort of in a mini mall, so there was ample parking in the evening when most businesses were closed.

Fuss free Japanese dining with quality food - it is pretty popular and almost everyone came with a reservation so I suggest doing so, we waited about 30mins for a table but it was well worth it!

Hands down the best sushi I have ever had and they have amazing Japanese food with lots of choices. I have been consistently coming to Goshis for about 15 years and they continue to impress me. This is by far my favorite restaurant. Their fish is fresh, flavors compliment each other, the green tea is the best in town, and there is a huge menu (which means you can have a completely different experience each time and not get bored).
