It’s a small hut in a parking lot, though they spent a lot of time trying to make it look kitschy and eclectic. The owners are an older no nonsense couple - and they have quite an eclectic assortment of coffee drinks. My problem was that they were WAAAY too sweet - and it overall tasted too strongly of the syrup and less of the coffee. Their old west cinnamon rolls are fantastic though.Parking: It’s hit or miss to find a spot -

Hmmmm my cafe mocha was I regret to say was pretty poor. Not trying to be a coffee snob but it was tasted like corn syrup :(

The Hug A Mug set up so cute. There are picnic tables to enjoy your coffee and food. There is even a drive thru.
Best coffee in Paso, easily! Convenient drive thru option, and incredible service 10/10 times.

If you prefer sweet over coffer then this is the place for you. Unfortunately, our drinks were so sweet we wound up taking a couple of sips and then tossing them. Again, this could be chalked up to preference. I prefer to taste more coffee than syrup. The two people there were very pleasant , and it's a cute place to sit outside if the weather permits.

Greetings from the Hungarian couple from Colorado and NYC, the coffees are awesome, thank you very much!See you next time ❤️
Great little place to grab a coffee and goodies. Very dog ? friendly. Easy in, easy out for those just passing through Paso Robles. Next time I need coffee, I'll skip the green lady and head over to Hug A Mug. You should, too ☕️

Fantastic staff, offered feedback about coffee selections. Not your hipster coffee bar, easy counter or drive up service.

Hug-a-mug is A HUG IN A MUG. Quality beyond expectation and very kind baristas. I ordered the Yeti AND Ritchie's Nutty Caramel because I just couldn't choose one, and both made me do a little dance. I enjoyed sipping on my coffee in their outdoor seating area decorated with patio lights and potted plants. Don't pass this place up!
