I was finally able to try this place out! I went here on a girls night and had such a great experience. The atmosphere and food were both exquisite. I had the seafood paella and my friend had the bone in ribeye, both were delicious. I will absolutely be back

Went there for the first time. I was excited I was trying a new restaurant. I had the patatas bravas and the paella. The patatas bravas seemed like they came from a frozen bag and warmed but they were cold when served. There was very little sauce on top. I asked for a little more. The paella wasn't even close to being cooked that day. Usually paella takes time to cook but it was served to us in less than 15 minutes so makes me think it was just warmed up to serve. It seems like it was rice that was cooked and they topped it off with the other ingredients. The flavor wasn't very good either. I would not recommend this place and will not go back.

Ran into Chef Austen (not knowing he was the chef) by accident yesterday morning and he encouraged us to give his restaurant a try. I'm so glad we took his advice. Vibrant atmosphere, excellent service, and the food...holy cow!! Fantastic pairing of spices, textures and flavors. Great job, Austen. We'll definitely return on our next visit to beautiful Paso.

My friends and I chose this restaurant for a celebratory Bachelorette dinner, and our culinary experience was nothing short of remarkable. The octopus was a symphony of flavors, perfectly cooked to tender perfection. The ceviche, equally impressive, was delicately tender and bursting with fresh, vibrant tastes. Although the paella hinted at being slightly underdone, it nonetheless delivered a deliciously rich and savory palette that left us craving for more. For anyone visiting Paso Robles, this establishment comes with my highest recommendations. It promises not just a meal but a memorable dining experience that’s bound to exceed your expectations.

What a wonderful night. Delicious paella, great cocktails and good company. Service was excellent. Ended with a delicious expresso martini.

So bummed out by our experience tonight. Been here a couple of times before for dinner and drinks so was super excited to return again. The espresso martinis are not what they used to be, but that's not even the beginning of our subpar experience. We ordered the chicken paella and it was so charred we could not eat it. I've had paella plenty of times before, and understand it's supposed to be crispy, but this was beyond. We asked our server to take it back and declined their offer to make a new one and just asked to have it taken off the bill, which our server graciously agreed to. A few minutes later someone else came up to our table and confronted us about the paella we sent back. He explained that he was the chef and inspected our paella and didn't think it was burnt. We explained that it was literally black on the bottom and he gave us a look like we were full of crap and reluctantly said he'd give us a discount. I have never been approached by a chef at a restaurant like this and my friends and I just looked at each other in shock that even happened. My friend then asked for the manager, and we explained it was really weird that the chef would approach us like that, and the manager just said he would talk to the chef and left it at that. No apologies or anything. Not even a minute later the chef comes back with a new paella (seafood which was not even what we ordered) and said he felt bad and that the new paella was on him. By this point the vibe of dinner was basically ruined and we just asked for the rest of our food to be boxed up and asked for the bill. Thankfully the paella was taken off our bill, but I feel like the whole situation could've been handled so differently. I really am not one to complain at restaurants or even leave negative reviews, but this was just a really crappy experience that has left such a sour taste.

I was really looking forward to visiting this restaurant but was told that the chef changed a few months ago. Unfortunately I really did not enjoy the food. We ordered the ceviche, scallops and the croquettes. The food was extremely salty, to the point we couldn't eat it. The croquettes tasted like a tater tot. Our Uber driver told us not to go, and I understand why now.

Came here after a long drive from LA on a Friday night. We ended up ordering the seafood paella and mussels to start. I thought the mussels was very salty and would have been nice if they gave you more toast for the broth. The broth was so salty that I couldn't finish it and left a lot on the plate. The seafood paella was not as flavorful as I thought it was going to be. I did like the 4 large shrimps they give you. It was tender and bouncy. Not over cooked and it was sweet. I also like the rice as it was a little crispy on the bottom. This place is definitely on the pricier side. The restaurant is a little tight to navigate and the tables are too small and will limit the amount of items you can order.

I can't rave enough about this place !!!! From the food to the ambiance to the cocktails, everything was amazing. But the one thing is how sincere the staff, owner, and managers are. I live over 3 hrs away, and I left my cross body with some valuable things inside. They returned my phone call, and arranged to have my purse mailed to me with no hesitation. They are truly awesome and I appreciate it so much.

Scallops were delicious. Not a fan of the fish stew. An herb used was off putting to my mind. Nor did I like the drink named after Yoda. That being said the service was great and I would go back to try their other offerings. Dog friendly porch.

Went in for brunch for a celebration with my parents. Worst dining experience I've ever had. We stood at the host stand for several minutes with 5 staff members at the bar not acknowledging us. We were directed to a table by the open door shoved up against the tables next to us. The ambiance was dark, cold and the live music advertised was nonexistent. We sat waiting to be given menus but after several minutes I got up and grabbed menus myself. The brunch menu was extremely limited and they don't serve drip coffee? We ordered right away. My father ordered a latte which never came out. We waited for our food for 45 minutes and 2 out of the 3 meals were completely wrong and had to be sent back. The latte finally came out but with a ton of sugar in it which my father didn't request and can't have. At the hour mark we are still waiting for our correct food to come out. At this point there has been no acknowledgment on our servers part on the long food wait, food and beverage mistakes, or even to check on us. I gave up and needed to eat so I told the server to cancel my order and I left as I was starving. I met my parents after and they said the server charged them for not only my meal which I cancelled after waiting an hour, but the entire check without any kind of discount or apology for the mistakes, hour long wait on food and drinks or horrible service. I went in and demanded reimbursement after my step mother was crying over the horrible experience, lack of acknowledgement on the servers part of our time and money wasted and the incredibly overpriced check she was presented with with no effort to remove any of the incorrect items or items we waited over an hour for. It wasn't even that busy. I asked for a manager but there wasn't one on duty. Will never be back and will be sure to share this story. I worked in restaurants for 30 years and this was across the board unacceptable.
