Incredible wines, even more incredible staff! Seven Oxen was our first winery stop and Nancy absolutely blew us away with her knowledge and welcoming demeanor. She took her time explaining the wines to us and educating us about the winemaking process so we could really appreciate each pour. The wines themselves are more delicate than a lot of other Paso wines which I loved. We also got to try some older vintages and unusual varieties which was so fun! We left with a couple bottles and a new wine club membership. So excited to come back again and again!

Yummy wine, a beautiful tasting room, and top notch staff makes this a must visit in Paso. Nancy is so friendly and knowledgeable. She was so welcoming and also won our dog over with treats. Take home a bottle of Cassidy, it's a hit!

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon in July and we had the place to ourselves. Very nicely modeled and spacious tasting room. Adriana hosted us and we really enjoyed her knowledge of wines and the background of the winemakers. My daughter bought a Tannat and I got a bottle of Zinfandel. It was a great tasting and we will be back.

All-around amazing - the wine is fantastic and the team is that rare combination of both super knowledgeable and super welcoming. Really fun experience. Don't miss it if you're in the area! And honestly, even if you're not in the area, it's worth a visit.

Nancy made our visit very special, she is very knowledgeable and passionate about the wines and how the grapes grow on their estate. Amazing wines and a great wine tasting experience!

Great atmosphere and solid wines. Bastien, the winemaker, was a generous host and shared his winemaking philosophy and his excitement about his new graftings. We enjoyed the wines and the patio and were grateful for a bonus pour of his Tannat. That and the rosé were favorites but we didn't take anything home. I'd return.

Fortunate enough to know these folks! A great team constantly refining their farming, winemaking, and tasting experience for a decade. Naturally complex wine from very high quality estate fruit. Some interesting varietals as well. Always a fun time and a good vibe at the tasting room. Great special events.

We stopped by the Seven Oxen tasting room on a Saturday afternoon. The tasting room is spacious and nicely decorated. We sat on the patio and enjoyed our wine in the shade. The tasting room manager, Nancy, provided a personalized tasting and even recommended things to do in the SLO area. She made the experience very memorable. Thank you, Nancy! The wines were fantastic-- my favorite was the Grenache. I would definitely visit Seven Oxen again.

Truly a special tasting experience! Friendly, unpretentious, and knowledgeable staff, and the wines are some of the best I’ve had in Paso

Was referred to this winery when I told another winery manager I preferred less crowds. He recommended seven oxen and it ended up being my favorite winery of the weekend. Grenache and Cassidy were unique and amazing. I’m from the Lodi region and have had a lot of zins but their zin was different - less fruity forward and hammy yet remarkable. Nancy the manager welcomed us as guests in her home and was a delight to talk to. Comfortable, clean and dog friendly! Will definitely return.

If you’re looking for complex wines from a boutique cellar, Seven Oxen is a perfect place to satisfy such palate. If your looking for a $10-$20 mass produced wine bottle, this won’t be the place for you. However, their limited yield from the vine is due to the amount of care and delicate production placed in quality. With Rose starting at $28 and their Zinfandel Reserve at $56, you’ll be sure to get your money’s worth with everlasting impression of their balanced flavors, aromas, and acidity. I highly recommend a tasting of their entire line in order to experience the full range of their grape selections and unique characteristics. I was there this past weekend for my bday(March 2021) and Nancy, director of sales and hospitality is a fantastic host. An outdoor patio is available for reservations or walk-ins.Conveniently located off 101 fwy, within 5 minutes of downtown Paso Robles

Best wine I've ever had. Seriously. After a day of wine tasting in Paso, I went to Seven Oxen and was blown away. The other wines we had were now just "okay" comparatively. Seven Oxen's wine is smooth. Easy. The winemaker puts so much effort into removing weird tastes. I previously thought all good wine had to have strong acid, tannins or an earthy mineral taste, but this wine is so smooth and delicious. you don't need to think about it or analyze it. It's just unassumingly GOOD!

Seven Oxen is a tasting cellar located in Tin City; due to Covid-19 restrictions the bar and indoor areas are closed but their patio is beautiful and comfortable. Tasting is $20 per person with reservations required through their website. Paso Robles Wineries' website has a Buy1 Get1 coupon, be sure to use that. We went tasting on a Monday, they are only open Friday- Monday. Upon arrival our table set-up was waiting for us, we were the only ones there during our tasting. I thought the personalized table set-up was a really nice touch in comparison to other wineries we visited. Of all the wines we tasted here their 2016 Grenache was the best - 100% Grenache. Service was excellent, they allowed us to eat our cheese and crackers we brought and provided us plates and utensils. Thank you!
