We went to the Fableist for a wine tasting (we drove by without any reservation). We had an amazing time here - the tasting was very diverse and helped us understand the great variety of wines the winery offers. The view from the terrace is breathtaking and the service was just perfect! We ended up buying their latest white wine, the rosé and the chillable red wine. Being close to 100 USD, the tasting fee of 25 USD was waivered.A couple which came after us brought their own snacks - a great idea for the next time!Highly recommended!

My friends and I had an amazing tasting today. Christy was a great hostess and the wines were superb. The property is beautiful. We all will definitely go back again.

We've visited Themis winery twice this year, in the rain and in the sun. The wine is excellent and each bottle offers a Aesop fable reference adding to the vibe. They offer small charcuterie boxes but can run out. The service has been excellent both times. Once with Ryan and the 2nd time with David. I came for my birthday and once with family who also loved the experience. They offer a place to stay also, I'm a local so I haven't tried that part yet. They have beautiful oak trees, almonds and walnuts that surround the property. Don't forget to walk around back and check out their old trains. Great spot for a picnic. Highly recommend this on your wine tours

It's Sunday at 10 am. You've checked out of your Airbnb but want to squeeze in one more tasting before you leave town but don't want to wait until the wineries open at 11 am. Enter The Fableist with its 10 am opening! I came here this morning with my toddler and SO. The only other party present sat inside so my toddler dominated the front lawn while Mama and Dada had their wine. Host Christie was just lovely and very accommodating, even bringing small toys to entertain baby. The venue is beautiful with lots of vines and blooming cherry blossom trees. Plenty of outdoor seating all around the tasting room. Yes, it's worth the drive! We'll be back for the spring (estate) menu.

This place was advertised as a "family friendly" winery. My 2-year-old was running, tripped and bumped his head on the concrete and began crying, as a toddler does normally. Dave, the sever for the table next to us was sure to apologize to his table for having the children around. He said it loud enough for us to hear. Very offensive, with no apology, I was sure to call him out - I told him if you don't want children at your winery then don't advertise as family friendly. We will not be coming back.

Went to Paso for a friends bday with 10 others. We visited 5 wineries and this was our favorite. We had a tasting booked and it was set up under the trees and beautifully set. Danielle and David were absolutely delightful to work With. Lovely Attention to detail and the wine was fab!!! Several bottles were purchased that day . Highly recommend this boutique winery!

What a wonderful winery. Loved the Chardonnay, and all the reds. Especially loved the book of fables. Our Wine Educator, Ryan was amazing. He had great knowledge of the wines he was pouring, the fables that went along with the wines, and was even able to tell us the one fable that is not in the book.We can't wait to visit again.

RYAN IS AMAZING!! Our AirBnb host left us a bottle of Fabelist wine so we had to check out the winery. And Ryan conducted our tasting. I highly suggest going on any day but Monday or Tuesday so you can see him. The winery is beautiful & the wine is phenomenal!!! My wife & I like very different things in wine but we walked away with a CASE because we both loved so many of them! 10/10 would absolutely recommend and we WILL be back! ??️‍?

This is a great place to come and relax. Our host, I think his name was Ryan, really cool guy. I enjoyed his outlook on wine, he took time to share with us, he answered my questions. We had a great time there. Will go back next summer.
