Sad to say the place is closed forever. It is opening as a Cafe kind of place soon. Gonna miss the best sushi restaurant in Paso Robles. Thank you to the sushi chefs and staff. Never had a bad meal there. Now to find a new good sushi restaurant .

This place was soooo good! My husband and I are extremely sad they closed, the dr. Pepper here was crispy and sushi was amazing! Our favorites were the sun burn and shrimp lovers

Always fresh fish and amazingly creative rolls by the chefs! Vibes are always perfect, love naked fish it's top notch sushi in Paso, coming from an LA native who loves me some sugar fish. Naked fish is definitely the best food and service around town!!

I absolutely love this place! First time going there, we called ahead and was greeted so nicely by a super sweet and funny hostess. She took our name and had our table waiting when we arrived. It was absolutely the best in creative sushi we've had in the area. Prices were reasonable, service was great, friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be going back! 10/10

Highly recommend the Brussels Sprouts! They are crazy good! Not something I usually eat, and would definitely order here again. Cute decor. Indoor and outdoor seating options available.

Went twice in the last month and they got my order wrong each time. The staff was pounding beers behind the bar not even trying to be sneaky and the service was horrible. The long curly hair guy who serves was a mess and didn’t even try and make anything right that was wrong. Will not be going back.

Fantastic sushi. I have been eating sushi for over 30 years and was very happy to come across this place. The fish and the uni from local Santa Barbara just down the road, was very fresh and they serverd nice size portions. Patio is a bit small but can fit 2 tables of 4 each. I will be back soon.

Sushi was really fresh and delicious. Favorite was the uni and toro. Would recommend this place.

love the sushi but Tonight I was happy to see the restaurant wasn’t very busy. The hostess said they weren’t able to accommodate us. Seriously confused that a restaurant that was maybe half full couldn’t seat us. The young girl gave me the impression that she could have cared less if we even if we ate at there establishment So I was puzzled since they weren't busy, I asked if they could set a few tables together. She said again that they can't. As our party discussed where were we should have dinner we observed the staff just standing at the back of the restaurant just hanging out socializing with each other. Will never go there again...... so we dumped $400 @ yanagi Sushi and grill for good food and service. Naked fish,,, you can get some pointers from Yanagi Restaurant. Here a great picture in a great Sushi restaurant. Naked Fish do better...

had family visiting out of town and love the sushi here. The last time we tried to go they were closed on a saturday night. Tonight I requested a table for 8 and was happy to see the restaurant was 1/2 empty. The girl said they couldn't accommodate us. So I was puzzled since they weren't busy, I asked if they could set a few tables together. She said again that they can't accommodate that many people. She also said they just sat a big table and it was likely it may take a long time for us to get our food. So now I was completely shocked by her comment, like she didn't want us there. So I asked her if she didn't want us eating there. She said ....maybe it would be better to come a different night. So I left in shock. I never write comments for places, but this was ridiculous. I have heard other people complain about the service. But this was terrible to actually be denied service. Will never go there again...... So we went yanagi down the street

Unbelievably bad food taste-wise. We came here last Sunday and didn't have too much expectations (having had sushi in many places including Asia, Japan, New York, DC, and SF). The two of us ordered from the menu and our waiter was very attentive (1 star goes to the waiter Jayden). Here's what we ordered: - Green tea, but not really green tea, more of a barley green tea mix but still good - Several orders of Nigiri, was on par and pretty good - Salmon skin hand roll, the salmon skin had no flavor and the vegetable wasn't fresh (the greens were turning yellow already) - Udon noodle soup with vegetable tempura, was overly salted as if the chef poured the entire bottle of soy sauce in it. We had a sip of the dashi and that was it, can't really call that food. The noodle was also overcooked so it was too soft. This was the disaster of the entire meal that costed 17 dollars - Edamame, they didn't mess this easy dish up - Sunomono salad, this appetizer never came even before we were ready to check-out, Jayden was nice enough to cancel this but why would you wait til the end to have an appetizer? Overall, this was a very bad dining experience and will never return. Jayden, who was really nice, offered to take the Udon noodle soup off the check but we said it was okay to keep it on the bill since we ate the tempura already. I would definitely consult a doctor for kidney issues if you are to order that Udon noodle soup
