A gem in the middle of a sea of fast food restaurants. Patterson CA. Just off I5. Artisan kitchen and craft beer. We did not expect to find such a wonderful gem on our way from California to Oregon. A shockingly great menu worthy of any high class eatery in a major city. Don't miss this one!!

Wow, the quality of the food has really gone downhill. We come here a lot and love their brisket. Now, not so much. It was dry and lacked flavor. It used to be tender and juicy. It seems they've also cut back A LOT on the servings of fries and the calamari appetizer. I told our server that it was way less than what was typically served and way overcooked. Thankfully, she brought out an additional serving. Everything was underwhelming and we were disappointed in the food. Time to take a break from Almond Wood. :(

Third time stopped by for dinner. This time tried a couple new things to us. Appetizer- Brussel and Arugula chips. The bowl had cheese, dried and fresh fruits and bacon! We also enjoyed a chop salad, and a wedge salad with chicken. Dessert was the homemade berry cobbler. Our servers - Carmen and Kimberly were polite, friendly, and helpful. Will be back on the next trip. Do stop! Yummy

We ordered at 5:25 PM it took them till 6:22 to get any food out to us. It's fine if your busy but a little communication goes a long way.

Server was patient and helpful. Was great with our large group. Food was excellent.Vegetarian options: Surprised to find plenty of plant based options or adaptable items, especially since it is BBQ focused. If you like spicy, get the spicy slaw--nice heat level with a smoked chili vinegrette pairs well with the cooler cabbage. Nice change from overly sweet mayo based slaw.Dietary restrictions: Server was very helpful with our dietary issues. Helped us find good meal choices.

The food was delicious but service was so slow. The restaurant was not busy but it took a long time to get our drinks ordered, get our food, and we had to ask for refills on drinks. The pulled pork, tri tip, and Mac and cheese were all so yummy. Pizza was good but greasy. We don't recommend the cesar salad. It was like a plate of lettuce.

Stopped here on our way home from San Francisco the food was so good!! I had the classic brisket sandwich, my wife had the Chicka-a-bee and we shared the best garlic fries we have ever had. If you want to eat while traveling on the 5 hold out for this place, it is worth the wait! Just under $25.00 each including

Incredible staff, amazing food, and charming atmosphere makes Almond Wood a must have for locals residents, or if you are like my family, just traveling through. Their wood fire pizzas are exceptional.Kid-friendliness: They have a lot of play as you wait Stations for young children, making for a great oasis if you find yourself on road trip with little ones.
