The baristas here are incredibly friendly and accommodating--I really love an iced Americano with sparkling water, and this is one of the few places I can get one. The coffee is delicious, and you can camp out here and get work done (or at least pretend to get work done, haha). :)

Kind staff and nice setting . The food seemed a little bland, but totally fine.

Breakfast sandwich: Really doesn't look pretty, but the thing tasted great. Definitely outperforms the Starbucks ones. You can just tell the ingredients are higher quality. You can add more to it but I just went for the base order. Salted Choc Chip Cookie: Also very good. Buttery and crunchy around the edges, with a little bit of bend toward the middle. Not too many chocolate chunks. This was a worthy pickup. Chai Tea Latte: Pretty spot on, but not quite sweet enough for me. Tasted more like a cardamom and black pepper milk water. Had higher hopes there but I'll know what to ask for next time. Apparently their matcha is pretty good.

Ordered ahead online (3/1/24 9:10am). Food took an extra 15minutes past the time it said it would be ready (so it took 30+minutes from the time I ordered online) for a coffe, chai, egg muffin and avocado toast. - we paid 2dollars extra for an egg on the avocado toast but we never got it. The muffin part of the egg/bacon/muffin is inedible…literally the muffin is too hard to bite through ?‍♂️ not over toasted, maybe just stale or previously frozen. And drip coffee which is usually great was pretty stale/burnt flavored this morning. All around disappointed.

Worth the try: strawberry matcha latte, nitro dream Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte: the best strawberry matcha latte I've ever had--strawberry purée, matcha, oat milk. Simple, delicious, not too sweet. PARKING: Lots of free parking available outside. SERVICE: Servers were kind and quick to get us our drinks despite the long queue of people. ATMOSPHERE: Cozy coffee shop in Petuluma, ample indoor and outdoor seating. Stopped drinking my latte halfway through just so I could leave this review. I'm never one to get matcha drinks, but today was just one of those days. I've tried strawberry matcha lattes before, which typically have the layers showing and aren't mixed together. This one had the strawberry purée already mixed in (making me think there wasn't even strawberry in it to begin with), but man oh man, this was the tastiest strawberry matcha latte I've ever had and exactly what I needed. My partner and I stumbled upon this place looking for a coffee fix on our way back home to Sacramento, and we're so glad we did! Such a pleasant surprise and a great shop overall.

Popped in because it was across the street from my meeting and was pleasantly surprised. It was mostly full at 11a with people meeting, working, and catching up with friends. Good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. By the numbers: Coffee 4/5 Service 5/5 Ambiance 4/5 Value 4/5 Espresso - Very good. For a dark roast espresso, it was good. Decent amount of crema on the top, too. And in a ceramic cup with sparkling water, too.

Love, love, love Avid Coffee. Their handcrafted espresso drinks are far superior to their competition. They have a long list of made in house syrups. Today I tried the Rose Latte. It was the perfect combination of rich espresso and Rose syrup. The barista told me they made the syrup in the shop. It was perfect. I also ordered a mocha, because I don't get to this location as often as I would like. And hey, I'm a tired mommy who can never get enough caffeine. We also ordered a cinnamon roll and a crumble donut. (They are half off the last hour before they close.) The only reason they get five stars instead of four is their hours. They close WAY too early. 4 pm on weekdays and 3 pm on weekend. I wish they were open later. They should consider being open until 5 or 6. Either way it is worth a stop the next time you are downtown Petaluma. Just keep in mind their early hours so that you don't get left without your caffeine fix.

Closest to third wave coffee I've got to drink in town. Cozy wooden surfaces. The library across the road and the sandwiches here look like a great combo - one can coast back and forth the entirety of a day. Looking forward to my next time

Cool spot and nice folks. Drip coffee tasted like charcoal a la 2000’s Starbucks. Was hoping for better. Lines out the door so the foofy soy milk drinks might be better.

Slow , slow, slow service. Hot cocoa I had was weak. Right now we're told covid cases are rising fast and the place was so stuffy and unventilated that you could almost see the virus floating around. Clueless.

Hands down (or up!) one of my favorite coffee joints in town. Today, I tried a chocolate biscotti latte (decaf!) with almond milk. Pretty darn good, although Sergio said someone claimed that to be "the best drink they've ever had." Now, I wouldn't go that far, however it was tasty.Great latte art, Sam!!!

Excellent quality. Tried the coffee and matcha and both were great. Small cafe with some seating outside too.

It seems like Avid has figured out a fix for the long wait times, woohoo! I'm now a regular again. Their coffee is just so delicious, and their space is very inviting.

Real mellow atmosphere here, I feel like I could show up in sweats + a hoodie and be fully understood here. Employees were all beyond pleasant to interact with and even let me know the first drink I asked about was super caffeinated (which I mega appreciated and avoided) and then let me know alternatives. Speaking of alternatives, alt milks are available, thank you for that. The latte was elite and the baked goods equally delicious. New favorite spot
