I will keep this short. If you want the best Indian food then come here. Highest quality ingredients and that hard to find home made taste. First time there for dinner but it won't be my last. Hareesh our server was all class and made us feel right at home. Delicious!

Been here twice and both times the waiter has been very friendly and informative, and the food has been yummy and spicy. Will probably become a regular here :)

Very friendly staff and good assortment that's not at other Indian/Nepalese restaurants. Love it here :)

I've eaten Indian food in several countries. Ambrosia Indian Cuisines rates up there among the best. The service alone is exceptional. The prices are very reasonable. The food? Everything we tried was fresh and tasty with the right amount of spiciness for what we ordered. Highly recommended! My 12 year granddaughter loves it!

We had a great experience eating dinner for the first time at Ambrosia tonight. We tried the prawns, butter chicken, chutney, and all were delicious. We had a great waiter who was very attentive and made us feel welcome. This place is decorated nicely and would be a fun date night spot. We will be back!

One of the best Indian restaurants in the area! Prettiest ambiance with great food. They have lots of money plants around. They also have cosy sectioned tables with traditional decorations for date nights and special occasion. We had Avocado bhel and Chicken 65 it was crispy and delicious fusion appetizers. For the main course we had Malai kofta and Chicken tikka masala. Everything was really good.

We found this place for lunch and it was fantastic. The owner was super friendly--he gave us a culinary history of India/Pakistan--always interesting to learn. The food was tasty. If only I lived closer, Ambrosia would be my go-to Indian restaurant. I hope to return!

Walked in excited for some good Indian food a short walk away from downtown Petaluma. Boy was that walk worth it. Not only was I greeted by some really friendly staff, but ended up with some fantastic food. I ordered the lunch special with Aloo Gobi. It came with some battered deep fried vegetables (Pakora), some bread (Roti), Rica, Chickpea Curry and the ordered Aloo Gobi. It all tasted great. I was actually amazed by the Roti. In contrast to the more common Naan, it doesn't have yoghurt in it, is therefore vegan and often ends up less fluffy and dry. Their Roti was fluffy and just great. Probably the best Roti I've had. Aloo Gobi was tasty and so was the rest. Plus the lunch special ended up being just less than $12. For this price it's absolutely 5 stars. At a higher price maybe 4 or 5 stars just looking at the food. Inside decor was pleasant but not extravagant.

Absolutely delicious! Driving through Petaluma and saw this place at 2:03pm, boy did we get lucky! They close at 2:30 to switch to dinner. Wait staff was super friendly, great ambience, and amazing food. We got Chicken 65 for an appetizer, loved every bite, and the sauce was just that perfect extra kick. Wish I'd have gotten a picture but we devoured it. The garlic naan was so good I got two orders for myself.

This restaurant does a special pre fixe vegan brunch on occasional Sundays and it gets posted in local vegan groups. We went today and had a generously portioned, wonderfully plated, flavorful meal for a great price (it even included free mimosas!) Everyone in our group of seven enjoyed it, even the two meat eaters. The taste is more fusion, not typical Indian, and the food was delicately spiced. It's a challenging time for restaurants, and I do hope they continue this vegan event regularly. My friends and I will definitely be back!

I've eaten at every Indian & Himalayan restaurant in the Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Sebastopol area, but this one, Ambrosia is the best. The complex flavors! I kept telling my husband the flavors reminded me of the great Indian restaurant in London, Dishoom. We were at Dishoom early on & it was literally the best, and this restaurant has those very similar flavors which is the VERY BEST! My husband had the PUDINA MURGH in medium hot. I'm not much of a meat eater in restaurants but this so great, and the mint in it gives it such an amazing taste and honestly, new to me! I had the PANEER TIKKA MASALA, and that too, the masala was amazing, the paneer in the masala was fantastic! Medium hot. We also had a GARLIC NAAN and it was really garlicky which I like, and went well with sopping up the sauces in the dishes we bought. Finally, since my husband is British, we had the BREAD PUDDING and personally, I loved it. I really recommend everyone go eat here, as the flavors are amazing and it's the best I've eaten in the USA!!!! And = the best I had in England!!!!!
