We came here on a Sunday during November in the late afternoon. They have a beautiful property with great vineyard views! We sat outside on the patio in a little covered gazebo. Our reservation was for 3pm, we were running a little late from a previous tasting and the host said it was fine as long as we got there by 3:30pm! We were the only ones there, so service was quick and attentive. Our host talked with us about the history of the winery and gave some details about each wine we tasted. This winery does tastings for $25 each and you get to try 4-5 different wines. We enjoyed our experience here and thought the wines were good, but nothing really stood out to make it a spectacular experience. I would've enjoyed getting to interact with our host more but it seemed like she was busy cleaning things up since they were closing soon. Overall we still had a nice time here and it was a beautiful place to enjoy some wine!

My friend and I went here over the weekend for a tasting and it wasn’t completely how we expected. The woman pouring for us was great and the wine wasn’t too bad. However it was incredibly confusing to find the winery! We’re both local to Petaluma too but there was zero signs that we saw saying Azari Vineyards to let us know where we were. And then there’s supposedly a daily code you need to enter the gate? But no one told us that in advance and we never would’ve received it if I didn’t call saying we were lost. It definitely should be posted online or in your booking confirmation that there’s a residential iron gate you have to go through with a daily code and to call etc. otherwise how do you know?! The experience to just find the winery definitely put a little damper on our tasting, otherwise it’s a beautiful spot and decent wine

We had a great time at Azari. We were there later on a Sunday afternoon and it was very quiet, so we got to take our time and wander around the grounds, which are beautiful! The wines themselves were pretty good. Riesling was a bit funky...maybe a little bit not in the way they intended.

The grounds and wine buildings are stunning, the wines are good, and the descriptions given by the staff were very informative. I especially enjoyed the Shiraz and it’s history. I also appreciated the relaxed atmosphere (vs Napa mania). That said, this winery has so much more potential.1. The Petaluma Gap is blustery and several umbrellas, including ours, launched through the air during our tasting. This is a liability. Purchase rectangular sun coverings and ditch the umbrellas.2. Our table was unstable.3. The meat/cheese board was delicious, but we were not given any description of what was on it. This is also an opportunity to sell the products served.4. The website mentioned wood fired pizzas and we were looking forward to that, but none were being served.5. While I appreciate not being rushed, our empty glasses sat quite a while with no attention between pours.5. Signage is poor. Our driver deposited us at the first building, but that is the owner’s home (Sorry for the knock!) We walked to the next building, but that is where wine production happens. Finally we came to the tasting area. All should be signed.Again, this is a lovely winery I am happy to have visited. With a few improvements, it could be exceptional.

Hidden gem that makes you feel like you’re in the south of France

Beautiful spot. Wines are excellent, even compared to others in the area. Warm vibe, they make you feel like part of the family. Definitely recommend. Seating is partially covered for tastings, probably a good idea to bring some sunscreen.

Owned by a bigot who disowned and secretly disinherited his own son for being gay, then, as if that weren't enough... exploited that same son to work at the winery under the guile that they were making amends when he was disinherited the whole time. They also don't have a use permit for their tasting room and no food safety permit. If you get sick eating their pizza... and they also resell the same wine as is in the corkscrew bottles but with a markup.

Amazing wine and amazing time today!!!We attended a private party there today. The weather was fantastic.Friendly staff and romantic setting. This winery is very close to San Francisco. We did not have to deal with the usual heavy traffic of Napa valley during weekend

Stunning views, excellent service, and delicious wines. Highlight was a 9 yr old Pinot noir that was bursting with mushroom and red berry flavors. All the quality of a top notch tasting experience with none of the crowds or the hype. The bottles were pricey but worth it. 10/10 would recommend
