What more can be said? It's a tiny beer bar on a country highway in beautiful Sonoma county. It feels like you're stepping back in time. I recently went there in the rain and it was magic.

This is a moderately dingy, pretty cramped bar, right on the corner of two highways, so road noise outside is conversation smashing, with porta-crappers out back for ambiance. There is a great beer selection and the taps are clean, and the bartenders flow freely between engaging and sassy. I love it, but so do lots of other people. It's busy.

Lively, fun, very knowledgeable and helpful folk on the bar, the best beer selection I know. A lot of different people who like to meet others.

Great dive bar! Beer only but they have a seltzer of beer is not your thing. Don't use your cellphone unless you are prepared to buy the bar a round. Great conversation with locals. It was a fun time
Never felt like a stranger here. From the first visit, everyone was jovial and inviting. The ladies behind the bar are always great!

Came to SF for a week, and Ernie's was the best bar and the best craic. Such a good spot and would definitely recommend calling in!

Stepping back in history at a time when things were simpler and strangers talked to each other at the bar. But at the same time they have a good selection of craft beers at reasonable prices. Good stop after visiting Tolay Regional Park.

Unless your a local bartender not friendly wouldn’t recommend this place to tourists. Looks fun from the exterior but cold vibe inside
