Brittany was the best!! A meal is always better when your server is friendly, knowledgeable and well, the best! The cheese brick starter is to die for!! As well as the pear flatbread!! Actually, everything we ate was delicious and cooked to perfection.

Dear Hank's,FYI when you offer me short ribs (lunch, $$$37.00), I expect to receive short ribs, not chuck roast that has been cut into small pieces. Your customers know the difference. The plate was nice, the vegetables were perfect, and the music was fun.

Recently graduated from college and was looking for a place in Petaluma that would allow for big party reservations and I stumbled across Hank's. I had never been there before but always passed by and was really curious. The service automatically was amazing. They were super accommodating to our big party and I could not have asked for a better server day of! Even when the number of our reservation changed a couple times they were very understanding. Every person ( there was 25 of us) raved about the food, drinks, and service. Really glad I ended up going with Hank's to celebrate! Can't wait to go back.

This was a solid, yummy patio meal on a night ushering in autumn! We had a hankering for pizza, but wanted a little more of an intimate setting , so Hank's was the answer! We were seated quickly and attended to all evening by a great server. He was super friendly had excellent wine and apps suggestions. We had a delish beet salad, meatballs and the iron brick cheese (scrumptious!), and then munched a fig and prosciutto pizza. Oddly enough we were too full for dessert, but we had plenty of wine! Definitely a place to return next time we are in Petaluma!

Stopped in on a whim and ended up having some of the best pizza we've ever had. Holy goodness. Excellent food, delicious wine, beautiful atmosphere, and great service. We will be back for sure.

From the friendly person who quickly answered the phone to the call I received a few minutes later to inform me the soup of the day had just been updated it was a very positive experience. Loved the chicken picata w veg and mashed potatoes. The gnocchi were fantastic. I can't forget to mention the garlic bread ! Happy Hank's is open for lunch now. I'll be back soon.

I love this place!! The menu is amazing from the wood fired pizza to the best gnocchi ever. All choices are wonderful. Great and friendly customer service. They are now serving lunch! Locally owned!

We experienced Hanks for the first time, during their pop-up at Nicasio pumpkin patch farm. We were not very hungry, so we just shared a margarita pie between the three of us. Our teen enjoyed the best root beer he's ever had which also had their label on it. I'm guessing they produced the root beer and also the vanilla cream soda as well. My husband had a Pilsner and I had a glass of Prosecco. The service was so friendly and warm. I got a feeling they were the owners. The pizza was up in the top pizzas I've ever had in my life: any pizza in Positano or Rome Italy, Tony's Pizza in San Francisco, John's Pizza in New York City, the pizza place on Noriega in San Francisco and now Hanks Petaluma. The actual pizza oven was very decorative and was carefully selected in Napa. Their pop-up was very well organized and extremely clean. I was able to easily locate mini packages of red pepper flakes, Parmesan, and also a easy to navigate napkin dispenser. We will definitely look forward to lunch at the pumpkin patch next year and also if we are driving through Petaluma.

We've popped into Hank's a couple times after consuming too much wine and craving a greasy pizza to help soak up the alcohol, and the pizza is really good, thanks in part to their wood-fired oven! We've tried a couple pies and they were great. The dough has a light char to it and you can definitely taste the smokiness of the wood fire, a huge plus in our book! The Calabrese and Meat pies are really good. Is it the best pizza in Petaluma? Probably not - but it's very very good, and certainly hits the spot after a night of drinking. The wine list is pretty basic and there are far better options across the way, but it looked very reasonably priced. Service has always been stellar - whether we sit at the bar or at a table, our servers have always been awesome! We always feel bad strolling into a restaurant 20-30 minutes before closing but we have never been refused service or made to feel anything other than welcome! One of these days, we'll try some of the other food too, but if you're in the area and looking for pizza, Hank's is a great option!

Extremely disappointed overall, driven by the unpalatable pizzas. The pasta and breaded eggplant rollatini were good but the pizzas… In fact, what made the pizzas bad were: 1) the dough…they seemed more like flatbread than pizza as there was no distinguishable impact of yeast having been used to rise the dough 2) the cheese. The Margherita used a cheese that was so extremely salty that it removed any pleasure 3) the Koburrata pizza, which has no sauce, should not exist. An abomination.

Last year I had the best pizza of my life a few times at a restaurant in Spain owned by a family from northern Italy.I haven’t had pizza in the US since then as I worried nothing would compare. A friend of mine recently recommended Hank’s for pizza so we decided to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised with how good the pizzas were. The toppings they use are definitely high quality ingredients - the meats, cheese & seasonings were top of the line.We tried the Meat pizza & the Koburrata pizza. Both were great, but if you prefer “savory-only” toppings, I suggest you stick with the meat pizza. I don’t usually like sweet flavors on my savory pizzas but the Calabrian chili honey was an interesting element. We are definitely going back & want to try some of the entrees.

Food - Grwat!Service - Fantastic!Amhiance - on point! We had the meat pie with no salami and extra pepperoni. We also has the Blueberry Salad, which was a large portion and delicious. Our server was great. She had a welcoming smile. We sat by the back entry, and we asked to close the door because it wAs getting chilly. It was not a problem at all. I recommmend this place to anyone visiting downtown Petaluma.
