Walk through the door and you are transported to a different time and space. Really fun teeming and a nice selection of tiki drinks. We enjoyed the fried rice and it is a large portion. Would pass on the spring rolls next time.

We've been back to Kapu a few times and whatever issues they had on opening have been resolved. Additions like happy hour, the drink of the week, the Thursday family meal, and now live music on Fridays have made this a fantastic destination.

How can I rate this business ZERO STARS across the board? My party was treated so badly we literally thought we were being pranked.Horrendous and slow service, mean-girl attitudes from every single service staff. *Nothing redeemable about this place. Never have I EVER had a less welcoming experience.Hopefully, the owners take notice that things need to change and change fast before the rest of Petaluma learns how awful this place is!!*great place to bring someone you’re trying to break up with.

We went here on Saturday night, 2/26/24. We had a larger party and were told that they could accommodate us. Our plan was to just get a couple drinks and then move on. Every person we encountered was rude. The host acted like the size of our party was okay, but clearly it wasn't. The server told us we needed to order with her, but then was impossible to find. The bartender lectured us about ordering. As someone who worked in the industry for years I imagine the owner would be ashamed to know their employees treated guests like this. After our first drink most of our party left because of the terrible service. When it became time to pay it took 30 minutes to track someone down. Won't be returning or recommending to anyone.

Never disappoints. Something for tikiphiles and those just looking for escape. Very knowledgeable staff and the bartenders are always helpful and friendly. It's our “go to” spot!

What a great spot! Fantastic tiki atmosphere, great drinks list, yummy pupus and knowledgeable & friendly staff. Came here for drinks and apps before a show at the Mystic Theatre and were not disappointed. Our bartender, Tucker, was charming, attentive, so knowledgeable about rum and original tiki cocktails and made great drinks! Food was delicious, I had the poke bowl with chips and my husband had the double patty burger with fries. Definitely recommend!
We love this place but the service was really awful on our last visit. Minimal to no table touches, server almost seemed to avoid eye contact anytime she passed our table, and just generally seemed annoyed and cold anytime she interacted with us. Otherwise great food and ambience.

Great ambiance. Loved the pinball machines!! Some drinks are “interesting”. The ones you would expect to blended with ice are poured over full glass of ice chips. Not ideal IMHO. But would still go back - Cool place to hang out.
