I recently visited Oyama and tried their tonkotsu ramen, gyoza and dragon roll. While the food was delicious, I must admit that the service was not up to par. Once seated, I had to wait for an extended period before a server came to take my order. Despite the lackluster service, the food itself was exceptional. The ramen was flavorful and had a rich broth that was perfectly seasoned. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the toppings added a nice touch to the overall dish. It was evident that they put a lot of effort into creating a delicious bowl of ramen. While, the food at this restaurant was undeniably good, the subpar service left a sour taste in my mouth. It's a shame that the lack of attentiveness overshadowed the delicious ramen. I hope the restaurant takes steps to improve their service in the future, as it would greatly enhance the overall dining experience.

It's only been 5 days since SF was bored of Caucasian food. So look for ramen. It's great to get tonkotsu ramen and sushi here.

Good sushi in Petaluma! Fish was fresh and delicious. I had the sushi lunch 6 piece of nigiri with a spicy Tuna roll and a jalapeño jumper roll. Both were excellent. Miso and salad were good too. Glad to find some good sushi in Petaluma for lunch!

Sushi is not very good. Fish is fresh but cut poorly and too much rice to fish ratio. Spider roll is huge and crab coating is very thick so not much crab flavor. Soup is

The sushi here is always amazing, at any time (lunch or dinner) and either in restaurant or at home. We've loved the consistency with polite people working each time and the food preparation and presentation. They have an easy online ordering that makes it convenient to place orders and pick up, which are always accurate and on time for our $100-$130 worth of sushi. Our children love their shrimp tempura, avocado, original California and golden California (sans spicy sauce). As this roll is our eldest favorite- we always ask for omission of spicy and they've always left it off which is the best in the eyes of an 8 year old. The sunset roll is my go-to roll and incredible tasting with fresh fruit used each and every time. We've ordered their edamame, tempura mix and various specialty rolls over our four years here. As we are leaving the area we'll miss it greatly.

It's not bad, but I found their food to be pretty bland and not exciting for the prices. Probably can find better sushi in Petaluma.

I have driven by many times but never stopped. This time, however, I was solo & craving a fresh meal with a wasabi burn. Oyama delivered! Great seaweed salad, sashimi was big pieces & melt in your mouth fresh. Loved the hot mamacita roll all the senses covered! Staff appeared to be family or tight knit team & was attentive & friendly. Prices reasonable. Bringing the family back for shizzle as it is a casual setting.
