My favorite pho spot! So delicious and fresh. The owners are so sweet and friendly. Lots of GF options. And we love that everything is made without MSG!

Excellent pho at this restaurant in downtown Petaluma. We had a large group and had a variety of Pho as well as spring roll appetizers. The food was delicious. I loved the Thai iced tea as well, which is something I don't usually get. I would definitely recommend Pho Sonoma in Petaluma to anyone looking for an authentic meal!

We love this place. Warm pho that’s very tasty, great and warm environment, and awesome apps. Highly recommend you check it out. I love the ginger chicken personally and their egg

The ambiance was nice and we had a good experience overall. But my dish, the vegetarian clay pot, came out burned. The serving staff never came to ask how the food was, so it wasn’t until we asked for our check that I had an opportunity to point out that my dish was burned. This made the rice on the bottom inedible (and hard to get out), and the vegetables on top burnt tasting. The server responded by explained that the dish was meant to be served “crispy” on the bottom.Takeaway: if you get this dish, listed as one of their house specialties, be prepared for it to be burned. Of all the claypot I’ve had, this version was definitely the worst tasting. And at $17.75, also the priciest. Even if not burned, it would have been lackluster.Summary: Great location, lots of vegan/veggie options, lackluster food and service.Vegetarian options: A separate veggie section, including veggie pho

Clean and fresh. Added veggies and they were great. Price was a little sticker shock, but the food and service was good.

My fiancé and I were looking for a good pho spot and this spot did not disappoint. In fact it was even BETTER than we thought. We usually get a beef broth pho with meatballs as a comfort pho and had to try the bbq pork with garlic noodles since we could not resist trying it. All of the food came out quickly and the staff was also very friendly. Plus the ambiance of the place was so refreshing and does not make you feel cramped at all like other pho restaurants. The pho was cooked perfectly and the bbq pork just made us crave it even more.We will definitely be back to try all the other dishes they have. If you love pho and good vibes definitely give this place a try!

We stopped by for lunch on a chilly afternoon and glad we did. We ordered the combo pho, steak and tripe pho, and oxtail pho - all were delicious! The broth was flavorful, aromatic, and rich, and the meats were very tender. I particularly loved the oxtail pho since it's unique and hard to come by. I've tried a lot of pho in the Bay Area and would compare the broth to that of SF or San Jose! It's become my favorite Vietnamese spot in Petaluma for sure. Definitely a must-try, and the service and location were also great.

Not what it used to be. They served us two dishes with sauce, the first was so good with our the sauce but as soon as it was added it was made out of pure salt so much it could of given me a heart attack. When we mentioned this to the waiter they blamed us for using the salt sauce with out giving us any context that it was a 'dipping sauce'.Long story short this place does not care that you eat there, only that you pay them an absurd amount of cash for food you can't even eat.

I don't even know where to start with this review, I had just vouched to my boyfriend that this restaurant was reputable, and the manager that replaced the owner after we ordered had one thing on her mind: money, and her phone. The owner just recommended a dish before he left, the waiter came out and did not mention it was a 'dipping' sauce (referred as by the manager). I put it all on my dish to savor what the owner had recommended, and it came out WAY TOO SALTY. recalling how much salt had been at the bottom of the 'dipping sauce' was roughly 2 tablespoons, rendering my dish completely inedible. When I tried to bring it up to the manager at the time they ignored my naivete when it came to eating Vietnamese dishes and blamed me for dumping all of the 'dipping sauce' on the plate. I really didn't know how to respond so I forked over the 45 dollars for the me and my boyfriend's order. As we were leaving and only interacted with the manager lady for a short 30seconds we glanced to see that the other waiters were busy addressing prep work, while she had ear buds in and was on her phone at the same table she was sitting at when I asked if anything could be done about the dish. One last thing I would like to address as this should be an example of how to not run a business. 7 dollars for thai ice tea, in a plastic cup is disgusting. There is already enough plastic waste in the world, and exporting your dishwashing costs to imported plastic cups your throw away is a modern tragedy. I hope this review is a wake up call, not only for the owner's perception on his employed staff, but other people's perspectives on this restaurant.TL;DR•over salted dish•poor management•served plastic cups while sitting at a table•best avoided

Good food, quick service. Great at packing for take out. Shrimp spring rolls and the p10 are my go to.

Rich broths, tender noodles, clean environment with good service. A bit pricey as far as pho usually goes, but the quality is top notch. The location right across the street from the theater is very convenient.I generally go in for the chicken pho, while my wife prefers the beef. Both broths are really really good though. You can't go wrong with either. The spring roll appetizer is fried perfectly producing a loud crunch. Nice pickled veggies served alongside.I've gone here enough times now that I've tried many items on the menu. I am less enthusiastic about the non-pho dishes, but they haven't been bad by any means. The pho is the star. This is our go-to spot for pho in the area.

The beef and brisket pho was not very good. Also $15.50 with the portion they give in the soup as well as the toppings isn’t worth it. The soup itself lacked flavor and was very sweet. The spring tools were good. There’s many places with pho $10-13 who give you choice of size and who always fill the bowl and give all the toppings not just basil and a lemon.

It's more like a 2.5 stars... but the service is really good. Ambiance is chill. Food is okay, not as salty as before. ***BUT!!! Here's one of my big my icks. I would be careful with their cucumber water. I saw some really small bugs... super tiny and slightly bigger ones in each cups. I am not sure if it's their cucumber water or the ice machine. I even told a waitress about it...I would recommend to watch out for that extra protein~ or just sip the top part and hope for none of that to floats upward.
