Three of us took a day trip today from Ukiah to San Anselmo. Before leaving did research on good coffee along the way. Wanted to go to Pink Owl San Anselmo but traffic access is paralyzed, you can't get into the lot. No worries, will stop at Pink Owl in Petaluma. We walk in, very few seats, all occupied by folks reading their computers none eating or drinking. OK, will order and take it to go. But we walk up to the counter, no acknowledgment or offer of help by the staff. There's no one else in line, still no response from staff, after five minutes we walk out. This franchise does not deserve anyone's business.

Greeted with a smile as we walked in to the quiet little coffee shop by a lovely Asian lady and a young girl with snakebite piercings . The place is very clean , quiet and comfortable, a great place to sit back and relax . Espresso is very bold something I'm not into but lots of people are . If you like bold coffee you will like it and if you do not like bold coffee it will be just alright . The last thing is they donate to breast cancer so that's a plus . I would frequent this place if I lived in the area just for that and the personality of the staff .

I actually like the decor in this place. Feels cozy. I will say the staff could be a little nicer to the customers but the main thing is the coffee. It is just meh. That is a technical term meaning it is just ok. Not great. Not terrible. I wish it was better because I do feel Petaluma is locking amazing coffee or at least I have only found one spot and would love to see this place stick around but I do feel quality needs to go up.

I have had many great drinks at Pink owl. They make a great Cortado!!! I love the brown sugar oat milk latte as well. The two girls I usually see there (black and teal hair and the one with curly hair) are very friendly and make great coffees. I'll definitely be back again. The little sitting area is so cute and I love the conversation starter cards!

Visited earlier in the week as they were decorating their tree for Christmas. Very cute shop and helpful recommendations from baristas. Will keep coming back

Just went here for the first time and honestly had a really great coffee but TERRIBLE experience. The 2 ladies working were not friendly at all, super unwelcoming. When I ordered I asked for a 16oz latte and it came out to $8… when I got my drink it was only a 12oz. I asked her what size drink she charged me for and she said a 12oz… After leaving the coffee shop I felt like that was really wrong so I looked up their prices online and a 12 oz was only suppose to be $5… she really overcharged me. I will not be coming back to Pink Owl.

Pink Owl Coffee won me over on day one. Fast and very friendly service backed up by a smokin' good cup of coffee. I usually get a Café au lait or a pour over. Try their Mocha Java beans...wonderful. I love to sit and relax for a while and plot out my day. The vegan muffins are delicious, as are the bacon-cheese croissants.

*This review solely reflects the quality of the coffee I ordered/received.I had never been to Pink Owl Coffee, before this, so I was definitely looking forward to trying it out. I should have simply stayed not trying it because my experience was far from good.I came here with my friends to get a latte before we began our day, and just wow. The pumpkin spice latte I had ordered was unpleasant. I could not find the taste of pumpkin spice in my cup, but instead the bitter and rancid taste of coffee. Also, should I mention it was one expensive latte. I wish I would have just gone to Peet's Coffee instead. Service was okay, while the decor of the place was vibrante and in the spirit for Spooky Season.

My new favorite local coffee spot! Coffee is great, staff are super nice and welcoming, and love the decore! I had been to the San Rafael one before and was super excited to see them in Petaluma now also! Highly recommended this place!

Went in yesterday at 11 a.m. and the barista was so rude. I went up to the cash register and said hi how’s it going and she just stared at me, so my friend and I ordered. She forgot my beignets and after I waited ten minutes I got back in line and politely asked about them she grabbed them from the case dumped them in a bag and handed it to me not saying sorry or asking if I wanted them heated up. There was also no one else in the shop so they weren’t busy. My friend wanted to pay for some sweetener for her drink because it was really bitter and the barista was super rude about it. When we said thank you she didn’t say anything. When we left we said bye thanks and her and the other girl making drinks in the back just glared at us. I even tipped 20%. Coffees weren’t anything special and my beignets were cold. My friends drink burnt her mouth it was so much hotter than mine and we both got lattes. The interaction was comically bad. I’ve worked in customer service my whole life and I’ve never been that rude to anyone before.
