Stopped by here on the way back from a day of crabbing, was excited for oysters on the half shell, but ended up ordering some other items. The seafood chowder wasn't that great, costs $14. Garlic bread was $5 for legit a slice of bread, just okay. Pickles were super sour, $8. Lobster roll was not lobster but crawfish. Also kind of mid, $18. Other than the oysters, don't order anything else here. Pretty disappointing. $20 for 1/2 dozen of Miyagi's $24 for 1/2 dozen of Belon's Probably better to pick up the bags of oysters and shuck them at home

Hands down some of the best fresh bulk oysters available. Smack a few down while your picking up a few dozen for that dinner party.

Had some oysters at the spot and took a lot to go. All the oysters were delicious. They have a great selection of hot sauces there. Cute spot definitely give them a try.

This place is really cool. The inside is very nice and welcoming. The menu is limited but everything is fresh and delicious. I've been here a few times for oysters in the past which were excellent. Today I stopped by for a BLTA before hitting the Links at Bodega Harbour. This was probably the best BLTA I've ever had. The bread was toasted crispy but soft. The bacon was fire. The tomatoes, lettuce, avocado and aoli were all perfect. I highly recommend stopping here especially on your way to or from the course. Enjoy!

3.5/5 I ordered the Raw on the Half Shell - Taster Plate, which consisted of 1/2 dozen oysters (two of each type), as well as 1/2 dozen small Miyagi oysters. Raw on the Half Shell was more expensive, as they shucked the oysters for you. If you have the skills, I'd advise bringing your own tools and getting the Closed Shell. If you don't have shucks, you can rent one from them, which would still be a lot cheaper. You can get almost twice the amount of oysters within a similar price range, if you order Closed Shell. The oysters tasted nice and fresh, but I probably wouldn't come back unless I shuck my own oysters.

This is my first yelp review, and unfortunately it's to point out how dissapointed and frustrated I am with the one waiter (maroon snow cap, worked at the 1pm shift on november 25th 2023) who was extremely rude and insinuated that we had received all our orders and made us felt like thieves trying to fleece the establishment for more food. I politely asked for the remaining 2 garlic breads and chowder but his response was foul and inappropriate. I will never step foot in this establishment again. One person just destroyed the whole reputation of the restaurant and there are three families who will not be repeat customers.

My husband ordered half a dozen oysters and a lobster roll. Food took a looooong time to be delivered to our table, approximately 20-30 minutes. Good thing we weren't hangry, and eaten a little prior to coming here, otherwise we would be very disappointed. Plenty of picnic tables for outside dining (dog friendly!)

We got the lobster roll, dozen oysters, clam chowder, and shrimp tacos. The oysters were good but everything else was pretty mediocre. We got the lobster roll, oysters, and clam chowder within 15 minutes of ordering, but the shrimp tacos took almost 1 hour to come out to us. By that time, we didn't even want it. Right when we were about to leave, the shrimp tacos came out so we decided to eat it, but the quality of the entree wasn't worth a 1 hour wait. The cashier was nice and helpful, but the service for the food to our table wasn't what we expected. There wasn't a lot of people here either and we were the only party sitting outside in their yard. The food was decent but I wouldn't come back here again.

absolutely wonderful host and greeted us as we walked in the door showed us the expectation upon a menu with wonderful details. Fresh oysters but have a lot of options. I would suggest ordering the 50 oysters in bringing your own shucker. But on a day destination, on the way, a wonderful experience going in or going out of bodega Bay.

Sold us overcooked bbq oysters. We were like the 2nd customer in there. I think it's over priced and not so good. Been here a few times over the years. You cannot be complacent with your food. It's simply unacceptable. Or we just go somewhere else!

Love the casual vibe and picnic like atmosphere. Great place to stop before or after a beach trip. Oysters are delicious and staff was super friendly!

Bodega Bay Oyster is THE best place the get fresh oysters. Whether you're dining in or picking up some to shuck at home, you really can't go wrong. On our recent trip to Sea Ranch with the fam, we stopped by to buy some fresh oysters... and left with 3 dozen oysters, lemons, homemade cocktail and mignonette sauces, and an oyster shucker. It was the perfect one stop shop for all our needs. Service was friendly and they always give you a few extra oysters in case you come across some bad ones! I rarely (if ever) run across a bad oyster from this place. We love the Kumomoto and Extra Small Miyagi and will definitely be stopping by next time for these little guys.

I have been coming here to get oysters for my camping trips for over 10 years. This place is always clean, friendly, and has delicious oysters. I was sad when Point Reyes oyster farm shut down a few years ago but Bodega Bay Oyster is a great family run operation. I can't wait until I'm headed to Bodega again!

GOOD QUALITY oysters overall! We got 50 kumoto oyster - got about 6-7 empty ones but also were given about 10 extras, so it's about the same overall. They have a spacious backyard sitting area, so you can cook or open your own oysters.*BRING YOUR OWN oyster knife! Do not order half-shell oyster as they are double-priced!Will visit again, but will only get closed-shall oysters.

We always see bodega bay oyster company every time we head up to spud point crab company. Always wanted to stop by to check it out.. bodega bay oyster offers a varietal of different oysters shucked or unshucked. The family ahead of us purchased 300 oysters to take home. Something to think about on the drive back after crab sandwiches!! Lol!We tried the half dozen Kumimoto..very tasty, fresh and sweet. We also tried the bbq and garlic butter.. I preferred the garlic butter as the oyster had a creamy texture. The location has both indoor and outdoor seating.. they also offer to host private events as well.Nice spot. Will have to check out Hog Island oyster further down r
