So glad I finally tried this place!! Amazing quality & tasty food. We got the enchiladas, carne asada taco & pescado tacos. All were delicious and different from any other places in town. (We ordered to-go, so I can only imagine how much better it’d be fresh!)

My husband and I have been here a few times now.. My husband is a huge fan of roasted pork in a Mayan style sauce with homemade blue corn tortillas. I had the home made mole enchiladas. Yum! The food is authentic and the experience is quaint. It’s our new “go to” restaurant for consistent delicious meals served in a family atmosphere.

Delicious, fresh food! We loved everything, the nicest people that greeted us with chile-lime watermelon, the homemade nachos and wonderful tacos. We tried several tacos and they were all very good. Our favorites were the carne asada and Al pastor. They were so good I forgot to take photos until the last taco.

This is hands down the best Mexican food I’ve had, next to my Mom’s home cooking. High quality ingredients and the mole is the best I’ve had. I’ve traveled to Mexico City and Oaxaca for food and this is just as delicious. Family run and they are so hospitable.

We ate here for the first time last night and it was delicious. The enchiladas were super tasty, the guac was great, the sopas and tacos were wonderful. They had a few vegg options and super friendly staff. Loved the authentic

Amazing food! I love the chicken taco and mushroom taco. The flavors are so delicious and the homemade blue corn tortillas take them over the top. Some of the best tacos I’ve had outside of Mexico.

Fan freaking tastic. Working my way through the menu, everything is delicious, nothing is overpriced. The tacos are slammin'. The service is the best in Petaluma, in my opinion. Perfect place to eat alone, with a casual date, or with a few friends or family members. Yes, yes, and yes. May they never leave Petaluma.

This spot is the real deal!!! Unique, delicious, and fabulous! My sister works nearby and recommended the spot, since I'm rarely in Petaluma we went with her suggestion and I'm glad we did! I ordered an Al pastor taco on house-made corn tortilla, a corn tortilla quesadillas with mushrooms, chips and salsa, and a side of beans. My guy got a couple of tacos and my sis got the veggie mole enchiladas. The mole sauce is magical, I got a side and was putting it on everything, lol. Everything is clearly fresh, made in house, and unique to their goals for the menu. I liked that it wasn't all traditional fare one expects from a Mexican restaurant. This is high quality, elevated food from an authentic perspective. They use heirloom maiz, rancho gordo beans, and seafood from Anna's are all an example of the quality you can expect. The chips are not usual tortilla chips, they are almost puffy like a lentil crisp if you've ever had something like that but they are corn. He explained the process to me but it was over my head after a full long day in the sun, something about removing a layer of maiz before frying to help it puff up. I don't know but I do know it creates something delicious! Truly a delicious experience; the mole is not to be missed, this family run spot hits all the notes they are looking to achieve. I'm only sad I just discovered them!

My mom, sister and I like to go and try new places to eat. This time we went to try Quiote a family owned restaurant in Petaluma. As we walked in the owner Gloria and waitress Sandra greeted us and told us to sit wherever we wanted. Right after sitting Sandra approached us right away to take our drink order and offer us appetizers. She brought us drinks and take our food order. We had questions about some items and she was very knowledgeable and let us know what was her favorite food there. Let me tell you the food was amazing and the services was great. If you're around Petaluma please give them a try you won't regret it. Gracias Sra. Gloria y Sandra!

Incredible! They make their own tortillas from scratch and source beans locally. Their tacos are some of the best I’ve had—even compared to San Diego/LA. The free watermelon/tajin appetizer was a delicious and thoughtful touch.
