We had a wonderful lunch experience at this new restaurant in Petaluma. It's a hidden gem in the CVS strip mall where Mary's Pizza used to be. The owner was on site and actually was our waiter. The salad was delicious (they split it for us) not over dressed and plenty of gorgozola and walnuts. Second course, I had the homemade pappardelle with bolognese sauce, it was fabulous. My friend had the lemon chicken breast, it, too, was wonderful. The wines by the glass list was also excellent. We are planning on taking the hubbies back for dinner soon. The owner told us he has a restaurant in San Francisco as well, has had it for 25 years!

Delicious authentic Italian food. Very nice dining room with linen tablecloths, and great wine list.

Exceptional Italian dinner tonight at this suprising spot. The olio compote was a savory starter bread basket that was surpassed by the fresh, bright bruscetta. Having enjoyed the Muir Woods a nice meal began with both the grilled calamari (ragalu) salad that was tender and toothsome. The French onion soup was hearty & beefy in taste & topped with a bubbled cheese crouton. Onto the mains. This Friday saw large perfectly crusted scallops in a light red sauce that lit the sweet savory palate tonight. The homemade tagliatell was light and al dente, surrounded by clams Ala vignole. Sweet - flavourful. No room for the bread pudding or the Taramisu yet wound down with the prescriptive digestivo Sambuca con mosca. Will look forward to exploring the rest of the menu. I will never eat here again... had two experiences dinning at this restaurant. The first was mediocre, the second was horrendous. The service was horrible. The wait staff spilled food all over one of our members personal belongings. I asked for silverware to replace the ones the waiter touched after picking up dirty items from our table, never received them. I asked for a refill on my drink twice, never received it. I would not call this Italian food. The chicken Saltimbocca was extremely dry and had a disgusting flavor like the prosciutto was over cooked. I will be advising my association to set up our meetings at a different restaurant. We have way better Italian restaurants in Petaluma and throughout Sonoma County. Go somewhere else ... do not eat at this restaurant.

My recent visit to Mangia Tutto left much to be desired, to say the least. As a group of 20 guests expecting a family-style dining experience, we were sorely disappointed from the moment we walked in. First and foremost, the service was abysmal. Despite booking in advance and confirming our reservation, we were greeted with disorganization and indifference. Our group was charged per person for what was supposed to be a family-style meal, yet what arrived resembled a haphazard assembly of entree plates that hardly accommodated our large party. This lack of coordination and foresight was disheartening. Equally disappointing was the quality of the food. Far from the flavorful, authentic Italian cuisine we were promised, the dishes were uninspired and lackluster. Each bite felt like a chore, with dry, overcooked dishes that lacked seasoning and finesse. It's evident that attention to detail and culinary craftsmanship were sorely lacking in the kitchen. Furthermore, the disconnect between the menu description and the actual execution of the dishes was glaring. What was advertised as a shared dining experience turned out to be a disjointed affair, leaving us feeling underwhelmed and dissatisfied. Overall, my experience at Mangia Tutto fell far short of expectations. While I understand that hiccups can occur in any establishment, the magnitude of the shortcomings we encountered is simply unacceptable. I sincerely hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and implements necessary improvements to ensure that future guests do not endure a similar ordeal. In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant based on my experience. Potential diners beware: proceed with caution.

I will never eat here again and I would definitely not recommend anyone to eat here. Tonight we had our district meeting here for the second time. It was horrible. Service was bad, food was subpar. The wait staff spilled food all over one of our members paperwork. I asked for new silverware twice and didn't get them along with having to ask for a drink refill twice, also never got it. On top of all of it we normally have a plated dinner and for some reason the wait staff suggested family style. Sounds good at the time but what was served was not family size. We had about 20 people in our party and not ever one was able to try items that were brought to the table. The plates that were brought to our table were the size of a regular entree. This by far was the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant by far. To add the cost of this meal was outrageous and what we received was not equivalent to what we were charged. DO NOT GO HERE IF I COULD GIVE zero stars I would.

Omg what an amazing place! The specials were delicious steak and shrimp and clams with white wine sauce. The service was amazing, i got to taste three dishes and the appetizer and garlic bread and they were all so satisfying. My whole family was so impressed that i found this place i am amazed that they aren't so packed. The food was absolutely delicious. I came because of the pictures of the tiramisu and it was worth it!! Even the cheesecake was amazing and I don't even like cheesecake regularly. I recommend this place to anyone!! Especially for special events they treated us so well it was the best experience.

Really disappointed for numerology reasons. The first time we went, we waited for them to start serving wine, as we enjoy with our nights out. The service was really bad! We had to wait on everything from our wine to our salad to our main and actually had to try and get eye contact from him. We were there forever due to this but super upsetting. It appeared it was one server period. The food we actually really liked but was not sure about trying again, with so many options. My husband books for Valentines hoping it had changed. We got there the place was packed and still looked like one server and maybe one runner. People appeared to be waiting. We were left at the door long enough to decide to leave. The vibes gave us the feeling it would be another night of waiting, which neither of us were up for. I really wanted to try it again... too bad. They need a lot more help, especially on busy nights.
