What's great about this place is the place called "Taquearte" with its delicious DF-style breakfasts, the service is excellent. The only difficulty is having to wait since it only has 3 park-style tables. If you don't mind sharing it with someone you don't know, it may even be the opportunity to meet someone new. The sweet bread is unbeatable too.Parking: It is a little limited because it is a small shopping center.

My family and I have been coming here for years! There is a new owner or a new baker because all the bread tastes different, the flavor the texture is all just bad. The prices also changed which I wouldn't mind if quality had stayed the same. I bought 2 boxes for a family brunch And everyone noticed the difference and asked if I went to a different bakery. Sad to say my family and I will not be going back

Today, me, and my wife, I must say, had a very incredible breakfast she had the Chilaquiles with egg and I had something on the menu that I can't even pronounce the name but it was so delicious. The service was outstanding. I'm going to show a picture of what I ordered. Hopefully somebody could help me name it but the location is very cool back, they have a bakery Connected to the restaurant, which I thought was pretty cool, so if you wanna take home some Mexican pastries they have it this location I must say was pretty awesome. The cook was outstanding. The salsas are delicious. Well if you guys get a chance to go to Montebello, you must try this place it's a must.

Stumbled upon this bakery while eating at Taquearte and just the amazing scent of fresh bread says it all. They have such amazing variety it's so hard to choose. The service from the lady there was just so genuine and amazing! Every single piece of bread I got was just perfectly baked and so delicious. I got conchas, elotes, cuernos, pastelito, and a puerquito. Todo delicioso, so glad I was able to check out this famous bakery! I will return!

So disappointed!! I made an order for Christmas Eve went twice because to my pastry order for 2pm pick up. Only to arrive at 2:30 pm and be told that the baker had just arrived and my mini conchitas had not been made. I was so upset. I was not the only customer affected. Another customer had order and paid for tamales in advance only to be told that they no longer had her tamales. There were 5 other customers waiting for their order to be filled. It seems they had been waiting for a while. I The girls at the counter were apologetic but the baker was just blatantly laughing in the back as if he didn't care. I don't know what was going but I won't ever return. They lost my business and I'll never refer anyone to this place. What a waste of my time and gas. Totally disgusted with their service. A phone call would have been nice. They are totally on my blacklist. Order at your own risk your order may not be filled even though you paid for it.

Made my tamale order over a week ago. PU scheduled for 12/24 @ 3pm. We arrived at 3pm and told us to come back in 30 min. Bad customer service. And on a previous visit we bought 6 tamales to taste test. The tamales were raw ! We gave them a 2nd chance..and we are so disappointed!!!

Let's talk Tamales. I grew up in pico and used to buy tamales all the time back in the 80's . They were so good I'd eat two in my car before leaving. Sometime in the 90' s the recipe changed . No flavor. It's been since the 90's since I've been back and let me tell you they are not good tamales especially when you know what they used to be. They were dry, hardly any filling . The Taste of the little meat in it was yummy but scarce .Pan Dulce is yummy though. How about you bring back the moist Masa from the past and fill them tamales. For the price you charge we should see more meat.

I went here today with my family to order chilaquilles. It was our first time here. The employees were kind and hospitable. The food was excellent and delicious! Thank you so much to the entire team of employees at Duran’s Bakery!

The Mexican sweet bread is good. Service is friendly. Parking lot and street parking is plentiful. Lots of choices for your sweet tooth. Be warned, don't get the champurrado, it's really watered down and tasted like water with a little cinnamon.
