It is very good really. I know it can be pricey, but I think it is well worth the price. Crust was fabulous, the pizza creator was friendly, and it was surprisingly fast that the pizza was baked-I went to the bathroom, and just like 1 to 2 minutes, the pizza was ready! This location was great, and I hope to go to another one again.

Been to couple MOD pizza's around. This one is in a little strip mall that has a few places to eat and we've tried them all at some point. Line was not too bad here and the folks behind the counter worked pretty quickly. Kids are running around the place and are noisy and no one says anything - this I don't get because most people don't want to hear screaming kids while they're eating but this is today's world - the restaurant won't do anythig and the parents have no parenting skills. But that's just a side complaint. Pizza is good - never "great" but definitely good for a lunch. I really hate the parking lot though, always full, tons of high school kids, always a pain to maneuver around (Not MOD pizza's fault - just letting you know).

I recently placed an order online at MOD Pizza in Pinole for a pickup. I ordered 2 MOD pizzas, which typically only take 15 minutes. Tonight they gave me an hour wait time. No big deal, since I knew ahead of time... I arrived at the Pinole location where I had my order placed, I went to the pick up counter and asked for my order, and the employee said it was going to be another 10 minutes. So I waited 10 minutes, then another 10 minutes, then another 10 minutes, and my name was still not called. I went back up to the counter to ask how much longer it would be, as my order had now been 40 minutes late. They assured me it would only be about 5 more minutes. Another 15 minutes goes by, and again, I go up and ask how much longer it was going to be because I had been there for almost an hour and was going to be late. They apologized and said that, in fact, my order wasn't even in the oven yet. So I had to leave without my order. This was a waste of my gas, my time, and was a huge letdown for my autistic brother and goddaughter, whom I ordered the pizzas for. If an order isn't going to be ready until 2 hours after it's placed, so be it... but they should not be telling their customers that an order will be ready at a certain time, and then make them wait another HOUR after they come in to pick it up. AND... their employees certainly shouldn't be paying more attention to rearranging tickets and talking to customers more than they are paying attention to the pizzas in the oven, I'm sure that's why they were so behind. I even sent customer support a message about this situation, and all they said was that they would tell operations about the situation. Didn't offer me anything to make it right, didn't even seem like they cared. I will seriously re-think ever going back to a MOD pizza ever again after this experience.

Literally came here 15 minutes before they closed (11:00p) and they said they close at 10p. Everything is saying they close at 11p. Google, Mods website, and the review above from 4 days ago. Literally drove here from 20 minutes away with my toddler because this was the only thing to eat and everything is closed in my area. Disappointed and saddened that every last one of the night shift workers lied as if they close at 10p. DO BETTER!
This place has lost stars. Tea was all out. Napkins out. Staff apologized but didn't offer to bring any out. Order was wrong. Service not friendly. And it's becoming expensive for what it is.

this place just reinforced why I hate to order food from places like this in person. We came here at 10:15pm on December 16, 2023. I'm literally here now, I couldn't wait to write this review. After a late night gym session we come here & the guy at the front is so emotionally disconnected. He doesnt say hello or smile at all. He literally looks up (barely from under the brim of his hat) & says "how many pizzas?" This guy hates his job. I get it. I totally understand not wanting to be face-to-face with customers as I am a manager at a restaurant myself. But this guy is out of control rude & disconnected. there's a very nice customer inside with her kids. The little girl waves bye & the mom does too & he just looks at them & looks back down. Then when we go to order they're out of everything under the sun, which is also understandable because it's late I get it. But instead of being like oh I'm so sorry we're out of green bell pepper. He reaches into the container & sloshes his fingers around and goes "were out of peppers." then proceeds to stand there like hurry up bish. And then I ordered a Caesar salad and he says "just to let you know we're out of Romain." It is literally not hard to grab some Romain and cut it. It takes two seconds, but I could tell he just wanted us out of here. Despite the fact that you might not like her job or you're having a hard day, you check that shit at the door and he do not bring it to work. Your employees are customer and forward facing, and he speaks for the business. whoever hired this guy needs to do a reevaluation or perhaps their own check in with themself as to why he was hired. To have somebody so flat and monotone it's giving rude as fuck. And then, when you order online, they always mess up your order it is literally not hard to make a pizza. cant win here. & its DIRTY AF. i didnt want to tip but did bc i didnt want my food fckd up. oh.. guess what, their outta balsamic glaze too as if thats not prepped too.
