Brooks has a wonderful staff! I’ve tried the bbq burger, mushroom burger and tri tip dip. All were excellent! One of my favorite burger spots on the central coast

Brooks is our go-to place every time we visit the Pismo area. I always ordered the marshroom burger, but this time, I ordered Golden State Burger combo with tator tots. It has all the burger trimmings with eggs, bacon, and onion rings inside. The eggs give it a good flavor, and the onion rings made it crunchy on every bite. The burger is huge so I will advise to order this when you're really hungry. :-)

Our first time here. I had the bbq burger and give it a 7 of 10, my wife had the Brooks burger and says 9 of 10. The sweet potato fries 7 of 10, onion rings 7.5 of 10.I think the bbq (Brooksy) could be better with less bbq sauce. The sauce simply overtakes the flavor. It's too much spicy sweet sauce. I couldn't taste the char/flame grilled flavor as my wife did on hers.I think the sweet po fries and onion rings may have had the same seasoning. It's ok. My wife wasn't a fan. The onion rings were super crisp - perfect. But again, I too wasn't a super fan of the pepper seasoning. It was settle spicy and not over-the-top.They offer chicken, fried chicken and black bean burgers as well + more burger choices.Definitely a place to try for a burger.

The Big Kahuna Burger (no tomatoes) was very good! But my real surprise was how perfectly great and crispy the Tater Tots were.... Excellent!!!My ONLY reason for a lower Service score was because I wasn't able to complete my order online. It happened to me on 2 different occasions, and when I showed the Manager, she was very nice, but wasn't able to see anything I was doing wrong or explain why I couldn't submit my order.Only other complaint--parking is VERY limited!!

My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way back from outlets. We paid around 40 for burger , onion rings , salad and drinks. His burger was undercooked with brown lettuce and fat from bacon. My salad had brown avocado , weird fried chicken and I was very dissatisfied. I will say the cashier was friendly, ranch was good and onion rings were good. This place has really deteriorated in Pismo.

My MIL lives in AG... we stopped off at the outlets and started getting hungry... She had never been to Brooks Burger so we went! Very casual dining and the food was amazing! I had the Bacon Jam Burger with the side salad... THE RANCH DRESSING!!! Yum! I've had bacon jam before and on this burger was perfect... my MIL had the Brooks burger and we gobbled up her fries using the ranch... They have condiments on the side that include what looked like fresh homemade pickle chips! We went back twice for those. The strawberry drink... refreshing!

This review is NOT for their burgers. I'm sure they're amazing and I should have gotten one. I ordered "The Sheesh", which looked delicious on the menu. The presentation was mouthwatering. The meat was tender but ... it was nothing more but "grandma's roast on sourdough". It had bell peppers in it, basically mom's pot roast. The waitress said "umm it's good" (I want my tip back). The tri tip was tender but not flavorful.
