Met the boss, not sure if she was the owner but she wouldn't let me have a bad beer or sample from the same glass to insure I got the best flavor to pick from the menu. We got the pickled plate and it was actually good. Pickled veggies, fennel, cauliflower and several other offerings. I do not like beets but these I would eat again. What a hidden gem we found on a Sunday evening driving around Pismo. We love to try new craft breweries and this one we will remember for sure! Not only was the beer amazing - my favorite was the Wecken (Farmhouse saison) but Matt, the bartender who so fun and easy to talk to! We made us feel very welcomed while giving us a history on how the brewery started. The kitchen was closed when we got there but would have loved to try the food - German type of goodies which sounded delicious....read full review
