Visiting from OC, came to downtown area In Pismo Beach for our dinner. Saw Me and Ed's pizza. We dropped everything and headed in and found such a fabulous ambiance. Food was so nostalgic and fresh as they closed our local Me and Ed's in OC. This is a must stop, plenty of parking and plenty of TVs to tap into current events. Family friendly and we even had the opportunity to meet the owner and he took good care of us. Thanks again!

I grew up next to a Me n Eds in Fresno, it's what pizza is supposed to taste like. They've reproduced both the restaurant and the pizza exactly as I remember it.If you've never tried this place, do it. It's a unique pizza, sooooo good

Always consistent in their quality and service. I worked for a me and Ed's for a couple years about a decade ago. That's the test, if you've worked for a place and you still eat their food, you know it's good stuff.
I'm not sure why this place was so busy when I went... Grabbed a seat at the bar and it took a good 10 minutes to be even acknowledged let alone get a menu to look at while I waited. When I went to order a cocktail, I was told "oh I might be able to make that one, let me see" and was later told they're getting rid of their cocktails and so they don't have all the fixings for all of them. Then why are they on the menu still? I ordered two pizzas, one gluten free (I medically must eat GF) and one "normal" pizza. Both Pepperoni and both were disgusting. The GF one was soggy and greasy and way undercooked. I ate two slices because I was starving and then when they boxed it up to-go, I threw it in the trash when walking around Pismo. I couldn't taste the "normal" pepp pizza, but my friend also didn't eat much of it. In terms of the ambiance, it was SO LOUD in there (TVs, music, and kids running everywhere) I could barely hear the bartender just across the bar from me and it was SO HOT that both me and my friend were sweating, dripping sweat, within 15 minutes of being in the restaurant. Will I go back? Nope. Never.

I wish there was a Me n Eds in my hometown. This place rocks! We ate there yesterday, December 27th, because who doesn’t go to the coast and have pizza?Seriously, as much as my wife and I enjoy visiting the beach, neither of us care for seafood. We look for places that serve what we enjoy. Pizza is at the top of that list.The music alone made us happy-Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton, Bad Company, made us feel like we were back in high school. And, the waitress was chill. We will definitely eat there again while we are here.
