They serve a variety of breakfast and lunch food. The portions are generous and well presented. This is a family run restaurant. Our server was excellent and friendly.

This place is fairly new and is run by an experienced staff. It's a rather small place with about 10 tables. They're open for breakfast and lunch. I've eaten there 3 times and each meal was prepared perfectly. Had breakfast twice and both times the meals were good: pancakes, eggs and bacon; and bacon, home fries and toast. They serve slab bacon so you get your money's worth. For lunch I had the patty melt and fries. I ordered the huevos rancheros. Unfortunately my eggs are overcooked the Yoke's were solid. I like the yolks to run into the ranchero sauce and dip it up with the tortillas but that didn't happen but the flavor was good! Just wish my eggs weren't overcooked

I was welcomed immediately as I walked in. Greeted right away by the kind staff. The food was cooked to perfection. I have now gone to Downtown cafe 5 times and loved every single visit. Oldies were playing on my very first visit and I loved that.

I ordered the Bistro Burger. It is humongous and tastes even better than that sounds. Of course I could only eat half but disassembled it made a good salad when cold. The service is great. Everyone I have told about has also liked it too

The food is nothing short of fantastic - both satisfying and reasonably priced. It's rare to find a place that offers such excellent value for money. Our first time dining here was nothing short of wonderful, and it's safe to say we've found our new favorite local spot. Can't wait to come back for more of the excellent food and hospitality!
