Came here because I was craving Filipino food, in which I hadn't had in a while, and yes I'm Filipino. I got a combo, with steamed rice, Kaldareta, and pork tocino. The rice serving was HUGE and HEAVY. And cooked perfectly. The kaldareta was good, too! The beef wasn't too soft, but wasn't tough either. The flavor was pleasant. The downside is that there was a good amount of oil, and you can see it separating from the sauce, but it's to be expected because it is Filipino food. The tocino was very VERY sweet, BUT if you've ever been to the Philippines, that's literally how they do it over there. Some may not like it, but it's definitely authentic, nonetheless. The servings as I had stated were huge & all that + a canned soda, all for about $17, which isn't too pricey, not cheap, just average which I feel like is worth it, considering the serving portion. Pretty good food, definitely authentic, no doubt about it!

No stars for this place at all. The customer service is bad. They're rude to other ethnicity and will serve Filipinos and Filipinas ahead of anybody else even when the other ethnicity is in line before a Filipino and/or Filipina. They are not friendly, lack of courtesy and racist. Your appetite will be spoiled dealing with their service.

It was my mom and I first time dinning in. We ordered pork dakdakan with rice and fried vegetable lumpia. The dakdakan has an after taste you could tell that it's already been more than a day old. You could taste the spoiled meat and plus it has mayonnaise so at least they should just throw this away instead of selling it and might get stomachaches for those who has a sensitive stomach. Make sure to ask the servers if the meal is freshly cook that day cuz you never know if that's been a few days old and they just reheat that!

The food here is always the best right before the lunch rush, when the food is freshest. I would give this place 5 stars if it were only for the food. My only issue with the food is that as you get close to the end of the day, sometimes maybe the food has been sitting out too long, but by then it's hit or miss if it'll be good. The service is also hit or miss. Sometimes it's amazing. Other times, people are just moving at a snail's pace despite how busy it is. If they could somehow figure out how to be consistently great, this place would be perfect. I don't know if that just a management issue or workers' issue, who knows. But as previously mentioned, I found a good time to go so I'll usually stick to that time frame and all is good!

Vegetarian options: Every time I ordered food to deliver thru Uber this restaurant always making a mistake on my order and I’m paying $13.49 for delivery of my food and if you call them they will pick up the phone and hang up. The pansit bihon is too salty, I order sinigang pampano and they gave me pork sinigang and I ordered adobong pusit and they gave me pinakbet. You see how frustrating I am paying $13.49 delivery fee and this is what I get treated by this restaurant, I’m not gonna order nomore food from this restaurant and I suggest do the same thing, food quality is bad and service is bad too, if I can give zero star I will give it to them. I am very disappointed and unhappy customer.

I ordered food to be delivered thru Uber eats. I specifically ordered from their grilled favorites menu 2 combos 1 order chicken bbq (2 counts) 1 order pork bbq ( 2 counts) With sides half/half (one of the choices) Rice and noodles in each order. Paid $34.90 for everything after other charges and for the tip. Food received 1 stick of each (pork and chicken) less than $8 worth Tried calling PhilHouse, but no one answered the call, and their voice-mail box is full. Tried calling the Island Pacific store since no one answered the call from PhilHouse. Girl, on the other line, insisted, telling me to call PhilHouse even after the fact I told her no one was picking up the call. PhilHouse supervisor refused to take the call. That's how bad their customer service is. I used to wonder why most of the servers there are rude. Now, no wonder! The supervisor herself/himself lacks training.

All I can say is if you're a person of color they will treat you like your nothing, we ordered over $140 worth of food and they gave us barely enough to feed five people. The ladies who work there were very rude and rushing us to pick our food, we overall felt very uncomfortable in there. We were in a rush to get to a party so we didn't make a fuss and even though the food is good I will not ever go back there. I'll go somewhere where my money is welcomed ?

Napa ka sarap. This place has super friendly people and the food is great ! I ordered kare kare and sisig and so far , it's better than the other places I've been to in the Bay Area.

Been visiting the grocery store for a while now and I thought to try the food. I got white rice and pork. Also wanted something special and the lady pointed at a chicken sauce she said was spicy but it wasn't. It just had diced onions and tomatoes which was okay but I did not like the taste. The pork was really nice I should have stuck with it lol.

4 months preggo and all I've been craving is sinigang and FINALLY found somewhere in the area with some and it is so good! I I found them on DoorDash and ordered and the soup was packaged very well, I understand that soup can very easily tip over in the bag and I got it tipped over in my bag but they sealed it to where it didn't. Super satisfied with the food and the delivery!

Ordered online from them and they never got adobong pusit. Twice in the same week and 4 times total now. Ask the lady and she just say "I don't know" just take it off the menu if you dont have it. So dam annoying.

I tried this place 3 times through DoorDash and the third time will be the last time. The first order came with a couple of small entrees missing from the order. I let that pass since I figured mistakes happen. The same thing happened with the second order and this time the items missing are not cheap ($15 fish and medium entrees) so I called DoorDash and DoorDash redelivered the items missing. The third time, I ordered 3 combos and 2 a la carte items and none are available except for 1 combo so I called them. They don't do refunds, they offered substitutes so I agreed to substitute. I asked what kind of entrees they have left and the woman who answered the phone mentioned what she called their "usual." She didn't mention the price for each entrees so I picked a few from what she mentioned but she told me that the entrees I picked are more expensive so I had to choose again. After we completed the order, I thanked the woman politely and she sounded pleasant enough when she answered me back and then we said our goodbyes. But she probably didn't realize I haven't hung up yet and I heard her say to somebody "she's so irritating!" before she hung up. I can't imagine what they will do to the food with an attitude like that. So like I said, third time is the last time.
